Best Rooftop Bars Lisbon Has to Offer
Park Rooftop
First up is one of my favorite rooftop bars in Lisbon, Park Rooftop.
Situated on top of a parking garage in Lisbon’s bustling neighborhood of Barrio Alto, Park Rooftop is an excellent bar to relax with some drinks while admiring a magnificent view over downtown Lisbon.
This is also one of the best sunset-watching spots in the entire city of Lisbon, so make sure to time your visit so you can enjoy the views while sipping on a drink.
The later you stay at Park Rooftop, the more the vibe will transform from casual and laidback to a bumping bar where DJs spin music for you to dance the night away!
All the drinks at Park Rooftop are tasty and their sangria is a must-try.
Cafe Princípe Real Restaurant & Cocktail Bar
Cafe Princípe Real Restaurant & Cocktail Bar, located on top of Memmo Princípe Real Hotel, embodies everything you could want in an upscale Lisbon rooftop bar.
With floor-to-ceiling glass windows and a sprawling open terrace that overlooks the city from every angle, this bar almost gives me LA vibes.
Take your rooftop bar experience to a whole new level by enjoying some of the delicious food available at Cafe Princípe Real, like beef carpaccio, prawn croquettes, and tuna tataki.
Make sure to grab an outdoor seat for unrivaled panoramic views—you’ll want to book a reservation in advance if you plan to visit during sunset or other busy times.
Silk Club
Silk Club is an exclusive fine dining and nightlife experience like none other in Lisbon.
Located on the top floor of a historic building in Chiado—Lisbon’s trendiest shopping district—this exquisite destination boasts stunning panoramic views, a sophisticated, minimalist design, and freshly crafted Japanese cuisine and cocktails.
I recommend booking a reservation ahead of time since Silk Club has limited capacity due to its insane popularity among locals and tourists.
The drinks at Silk Club can be pricy but the views make it so worth it—don’t forget they have a smart casual dress code so plan accordingly!
For anyone interested in Lisbon’s clubbing scene, stick around until midnight for Silk Club to transform into one of the city’s most exciting clubs.
Alfama Terrace
If you’re looking for a Lisbon rooftop bar with spectacular views of the Tagus River, Alfama Terrace is your destination!
Located atop Memmo Alfama Hotel, this rooftop bar is a great place to watch boats sailing by and enjoy the area’s colorful rooftops.
The main draw of Alfama Terrace is a luxurious, red-tiled rooftop pool, complete with sun loungers—the perfect spot to snap some photos for IG.
With an extensive wine list and an assortment of Portuguese cocktails and small tapas plates, this is one of the best rooftop bars Lisbon has to offer.
I’m still dreaming of the tranquil vibes at Alfama Terrace, and I can’t wait to go back.
Hotel Mundial Rooftop Bar
Enjoy the sights of downtown Lisbon from Hotel Mundial Rooftop Bar, located on the ninth floor of a gorgeous Lisbon hotel.
Here you can take in panoramic views of both the city and local landmarks like São Jorge Castle.
This Lisbon rooftop bar will have you feeling like a local since it’s a great hidden gem most tourists don’t know about.
Hotel Mundial Rooftop Bar is the perfect spot to sit back and relax with your friends while sipping on a cocktail and snacking on some tasty finger foods.
Everything about this rooftop bar just screams summer in the city, and the gorgeous views, delicious drinks, and immaculate vibes are hard to beat.
Topo Martim Moniz
For an evening in Lisbon like no other, make your way over to the Topo Martim Moniz rooftop bar.
Topo is tucked away on the sixth floor of an inconspicuous shopping center in Martim Moniz, and the “blink and you’ll miss it” location gives this bar a mysterious, exclusive vibe.
You can choose between indoor or outdoor seating and enjoy the breathtaking sights of the Mouraria neighborhood and São Jorge Castle from above.
Unwind with a delicious cocktail and admire the stunning sunset as you enjoy one of Topo’s yummy sandwiches or burgers.
What’s not to love?
Lost In
Lost In rooftop bar is a hidden gem located in one of Lisbon’s oldest neighborhoods.
After a long day of adventures and exploring the city, there’s nothing better to end your day than with a drink at Lost In.
Lost In is a fun bar with a funky eclectic vibe that’s unlike any other rooftop bar I’ve been to in Lisbon.
The outdoor seating at Lost In is made up of colorful tables with patterned umbrellas that are adorable af.
Relax in the shade of Lost In’s massive overhanging trees as you sip on a refreshing cocktail and you’ll find yourself never wanting to leave this oasis—I know I didn’t!
UpScale Bar
UpScale Bar at Epic Sana Lisboa Hotel is often considered one of the best rooftop bars in the city.
Located on the ninth floor of a luxurious hotel, this rooftop bar features sleek interiors and marble countertops as well as a stunning infinity pool.
Enjoy one of UpScale Bar’s signature cocktails like the UpScale Colada (a refreshing blend of rum, pineapple juice, and coconut ice cream) while reclining on a poolside lounge chair and you’re in for an incredible afternoon or evening.
Even if you’re not staying at Epic Sana Lisboa Hotel, you can pick up a €50 one-day pass (about $55) that lets you use the lavish swimming pool area and enjoy food and drinks at UpScale Bar.
Sky Bar Lisboa by SEEN
Sky Bar Lisboa—an extension of the restaurant SEEN—is a charming open-air rooftop bar located on the ninth floor of the Tivoli Avenida Liberdade hotel.
Sky Bar Lisboa has a reputation among locals and tourists for being a super trendy spot to grab drinks with friends.
You’ll be able to see everything from downtown Lisbon to the Arrabida Mountains in the background which makes for a stunning setting.
Make sure to follow the casual chic dress code to grab drinks at Sky Bar Lisboa and you’re in for an amazing time.
Ferroviario
Located just a stone’s throw from Santa Apolónia Station, Ferroviario is the perfect spot for an evening out in Lisbon.
The charming tropical design of Ferroviario’s rooftop terrace coupled with the bar’s stunning views creates an amazing ambiance that you have to experience for yourself.
As a bonus, Ferroviario often hosts live music from DJs or other performers and when they do, the atmosphere is so fun and lively.
The drink menu at Ferroviario includes all the classic beer, wine, and cocktails, so everyone is guaranteed to find something tasty to sip on.
During the summer months, this rooftop bar is easily one of Lisbon’s best places to be.
BAHR & Terrace
BAHR & Terrace, located on the fifth floor of the Barrio Alto Hotel, is a sophisticated oasis inspired by incredible bohemian artists from the 19th century who created the Lisbon we know and love today.
With a remarkable view of River Tagus and the surrounding cityscape, BAHR is an ideal rooftop bar to visit any time of day.
BAHR features comfy furniture, trendy decor, and a delicious food and drink menu that everyone is sure to love.
Pay a visit to BAHR during the day for a break from exploring Lisbon or stop by in the evening to experience the city light up as the sun goes down.
Lumi Rooftop Bar & Restaurant
Next up we have Lumi Rooftop Bar & Restaurant, a stylish rooftop bar that serves delicious brunch, small plates, and, of course, plenty of tasty cocktails.
Lumi is known around town for its incredible views of the Lisbon skyline and flavorful culinary creations packed with fresh ingredients.
Signature drinks at Lumi include an incredible port cocktail with white port, St. Germain, lemon and pineapple juices, and rosemary syrup.
Whether you visit Lumi for a delicious brunch and some mimosas or Bloody Marys or stop by in the evening to enjoy the city lights, this Lisbon rooftop bar is always a good pick.
The V Rooftop Bar
My last pick for the best rooftop bars Lisbon has to offer is The V Rooftop Bar.
The V Rooftop Bar is a ‘60s-inspired paradise located on top of The Vintage Hotel in Principe Real.
Paneled wood bars and plush sofas welcome you as soon as you step through the doors while breathtaking views of Lisbon’s old town and São Jorge Castle await.
The V Rooftop Bar’s cocktail selection is divine with an emphasis on local libations like white port, Madeira wine, and Portuguese vermouth.
The bar also plays groovy and upbeat music that perfectly matches the fun, welcoming atmosphere.
I hope this list of the 13 best rooftop bars Lisbon has to offer is helpful next time you find yourself in Portugal!
