San Francisco Fashion Week

New York, Milan, London, Paris…They all have their Fashion Weeks. But did you know San Francisco has their own Fashion Week too? I’ve actually been really happy to see how many other cities are putting on their own Fashion Weeks, and not just leaving it to the big dogs. I’ve seen Insta snaps from Fashion …

How does your garden grow?

Mary, Mary, quite contrary How does your garden grow? With silver bells and cockleshells And pretty maids all in a row. There are very few things that make me fantasize about moving out of the city to the ‘burbs. And one of those things is my friends’ beautiful, huge garden in their lovely backyard of …

Tuxedo night

Last week I was at Target to pick up a bookshelf (I ended up getting this one to store my shoes in, yay!), and I of course also got sucked into trying on clothes for an hour. I’ve been wanting a cute pair of tuxedo pants so I was pretty excited when I found this …

Things just got teal

Somehow, Nicole manages to convince me to squeeze into her tiny dresses. She does have some awesome Free People dresses, and how could I resist my favorite color, teal? It’s sort of hard to not love everything in Free People’s catalogs. I mean, who even uses catalogs these days? Free People’s and Anthropolgie’s are probably …

So clearly I wasn’t kidding when I told you earlier this week that I really love this structured skirt. These pictures were taken in Seattle at the Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibit. …

B&W

I am seriously in love with this structured, striped skirt. The shape of it is so fun and unique, and every time I wear it I literally get stopped on the street by people asking me where I got it and complimenting it. Funny story about this skirt: I wore it to Autodesk’s Design Night and …

Poolside

Jennifer and I shot our outfits the last day in Vegas. It was a sweltering 100 degrees out, so an iced coffee was definitely in order, since we didn’t have time to jump in the pool before catching our flights home. The fun mani was courtesy of Butter London’s nail bar in ENKVegas. Then we …

Casino night

It wouldn’t be a trip to Vegas without spending some time in the casino. I’m not a huge gambler, so I consider winning $20 playing roulette a thrill. Jennifer and I got dressed up for a night out, hit the casino for a bit, and then hopped over to MGM for Hudson Jeans’ party with …

Americana

Anyone who knows me knows that I love a dress with a fitted waist and a flared skirt. It’s just so feminine and pretty, not to mention comfortable. This denim dress is from The Factory, a great boutique in the SoMa area of San Francisco, and is part of their Americana collection. Since this collection …

Autodesk Design Night

Last week Autodesk Gallery hosted their monthly Design Night in San Francisco. The theme for last week’s event was Fashion, so I knew it would be perfect to cover on the blog. The intersection of fashion and tech is so prevalent in San Francisco, and I feel like it’s a really unique phenomenon that’s special …
