So clearly I wasn’t kidding when I told you earlier this week that I really love this structured skirt. I realize this makes for two posts in one week with this skirt, but I just couldn’t help myself. It’s my new golden child. These pictures were taken in Seattle at the Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibit. If you have the chance to go, you must! It’s incredible. The red pillars and the giant green structure behind me are all made of glass. I’ll be posting photos of all the other glass art we saw there soon.
Seattle reminds me of San Francisco in a lot of ways, like the fact that the weather is a tad moody. It was a beautiful day for my cousin’s wedding, and then poured the next day. When we were outside exploring the Chihuly Garden, we heard the loudest thunderclap we’ve ever experienced. Freaked. Me. Out.
The earlier look I posted with this skirt was sweet and feminine. I toughed today’s look up a bit with the faux-leather jacket, and quilted boots. People kept asking me for directions, so clearly I was pulling off some sort of edgy Seattle style.
