It’s true that Santorini is one of the most romantic places in the world, but it just so happens that the nightlife in Santorini is pretty epic too! If you want a bit of both, you’re in luck!
I love Santorini and was pleasantly surprised at how much there is to do way past those magical sunset hours. In fact, enjoying a drink while watching the sun set is a fantastic way to get your night started!
To give you a general idea, you’ll find the most active party-scene Santorini nightlife in Fira. For lively, toes-in-the-sand beach bars, Perivolo-Perissa is where it’s at.
Oia has a little bit of nightlife but is best suited for eating and sipping on a cocktail while taking in the gorgeous views.

Best Spots for Nightlife in Santorini
Best Nightlife in Fira
MoMix
Drinks served in test tubes and shots in spoons? Sounds like a good time to me!
Sitting at the bar at MoMix (which stands for Molecular Mixology, if that’s any indication!) is like sitting through the coolest chemistry class ever.
Mixologists concoct some pretty funky cocktails from a liquid to an edible state—that can take any form from jelly to fizz to foam.
MoMix is a fun place to hang out and get wowed by the science happening right before your eyes! They play mostly electronic music, so there’s definitely a party vibe going on.
No matter what, it needs to be on your list of cocktail bars to check out!
Tango Champagne & Cocktail Bar
For an upscale party scene, get dressed up and make your way to Fira’s Tango Champagne & Cocktail Bar.
You can start your evening on a romantic note in the chill lounge where you can also get some amazing sunset views.
If you’re in the mood to kick it up a notch, stick around as the music gets louder and the party gets started on the dance floor.
If the Tango bar is the only stop you want to make, don’t worry…the dancing keeps going all night long!
Franco’s Bar
To keep it intimate and classy, enjoy a night out at Franco’s Bar. Located on the edge of the cliff, you can take in one of the most stunning panoramic caldera views in Fira.
If you’re a fan of classical music, you don’t want to miss this place! Sip on a “Maria Callas Champagne Cocktail” and watch the sunset while listening to Maria Callas’ arias playing in the background. How’s that for romantic?
Franco’s also has a superb wine list and a menu of small tapas-like plates. It’s the perfect place to grab a comfy lounge chair, lay back, soak in the atmosphere, savor a drink, and enjoy the Chopin!
Two Brothers Bar
If you’re in the mood for a rowdy, fun, full-on party bar, then Two Brothers Bar is your spot!
This place has been rockin’ Santorini since the early 80s and it’s earned its reputation as one of the best places if you just want to party.
We’re talking about your crowded, loud, rounds of shots and 2-for-1 happy hour type of place. Nothing fancy or intimate here!
There’s a DJ and dancing too and is your best bet at finding hip hop and R&B music. At Two Brothers Bar, it’s all about having a good time—and pretty much anything goes!
Koo Club
If you’re in a clubbing mood, Koo Club is a good choice. In fact, it’s one of only two true dance clubs you’ll find in Santorini!
You’ll get the real deal here—DJs, house music, pop hits, and a packed-out dance floor that doesn’t stop until the wee hours of the morning.
To take a breather or simply enjoy some more chill vibes under the stars, there’s a large outdoor patio that’s fully equipped with plenty of seating space and three bars.
Koo Club is definitely for night owls only—it opens at 10:30 pm and doesn’t close until 4 am.
Casablanca Soul Bar
If you like the idea of a place with a lounge bar/dance club that’s not too crowded or playing music that’s not way too loud but still has a hip DJ scene with dancing, then you’ll love Casablanca.
There’s a lovely terrace where you can hear music but still hold a real conversation and enjoy a delicious daiquiri or champagne cocktail crafted by one of their friendly expert bartenders.
Casablanca has the only in-house DJ in town that’s well known for being one of the only DJs to play funk music. The bar also hosts DJs and live bands from around the world.
Take note that Casablanca is a nighttime spot. The bar doesn’t even open until 10 pm and doesn’t close until the last person leaves—which is usually some time in the morning!
Tropical Bar
You’ll find nothing but good vibes at the Tropical Bar. It’s the perfect spot for sunset cocktails with fantastic caldera views.
It’s super chill by day and turns into a party place by night. DJs play everything from the 80s to more intense dance music as the late-night hours set in. The place is open until 4 am, so you’ll have plenty of time to do it all!
Oh, and happy hour prices start after sunset, which is pretty sweet too. Love a good happy hour!
Best Nightlife in Perivolos-Perissa
Tranquilo
This is my type of beach bar! It’s a super chill daytime bar restaurant on Perissa Beach to grab a tasty cocktail and bury your toes in the sand. You may want to give their mojito a try—it’s known for being the best on the island.
There’s also great food at Tranquilo with lots of tasty vegan and vegetarian options. You can never go wrong with some hummus or guacamole! There are also nice big salads and a wide variety of small “meze” plates.
After the sun goes down, Tranquilo spices things up with live music a few times per week—and even hosts a Latin night with some beachfront salsa dancing.
Chilli Beach Bar
Overlooking the sea on Perivolos Beach, Chilli Beach Bar is the perfect place to do just that—chill.
While you’re at it, try some of their amazing cocktails and food. Their menu is fabulous and features everything from lovely seafood dishes to juicy burgers and gourmet pizzas.
Chilli’s renovated bar area is gorgeous. Super spacious, open, and welcoming.
There’s always music playing to match the mood—and the place stays open until 2 am during busy times so feel free to park yourself here and go with the flow all night!
Wet Stories Beach Bar
Wet Stories has been known as one of the best party bars on Perivolos Beach for a long time. During the day, you can chill out on sunbeds, lounge chairs, one of their giant bean bags.
While you’re relaxing on the beach, you’ll have plenty of food and cocktails to choose from, so no need to rush.
When you’re ready for a more energetic, nightlife Santorini vibe all you need to do is go to the bar! Wet Stories hosts huge parties of all kinds with famous DJs from all over the world.
You can be sure the party will last all through the night.
Best Nightlife in Oia
Marykay’s Hassapiko Bar
This is pretty much the only “dance place” in Oia—meaning that they have DJs and a very small dance floor for people who want some lively nightlife in the Oia area. In fact, it’s open almost 24 hours a day.
The place is definitely worth checking out with an interesting history. It was a butcher shop for many years, which you’ll see when you’re treated by meat hooks as you walk through the entrance.
Hassapiko has an extensive cocktail list ranging from a traditional cosmopolitan to signature cocktails like the “Marykay” and “The Volcano.” If you end up arriving (or staying) until the morning, they also have a robust coffee and espresso menu.
Lioyerma Pool Bar
For a more relaxed evening, Lioyerma is the best romantic bar in Oia to watch the sunset. Located at the edge of the caldera, it’s a truly amazing place to sit poolside and have a drink while enjoying the amazing views.
Lioyerma isn’t exactly a late-night party spot but you can stay and enjoy more drinks into the post-sunset hours.
Ok my party people, there you have it! My list of best spots for nightlife in Santorini to cover every mood during your travels. For me, I know that sometimes chill and relaxing are all I want.
But, hey, sometimes that party bug bites and you’re ready to go! So I hope you’ve found this list helpful!
