Since moving to Napa, I’ve been wanting to spend more time outside in nature and there’s nothing better than biking around the neighborhood, to downtown, or better yet, to a winery. So if you’ve been searching for the perfect bike to start a new hobby, I’ve got you covered in my guide to the best women’s bicycles.
When I first started researching bikes, I was soo overwhelmed because every bike comes with different features or gears. And I am not a cyclist.
They also come in so many different styles like a beach cruiser, an electric bike, a regular cruiser, a hybrid bike, road bikes, and the list can go on!
Obviously, if you’re looking for a bike that is more geared towards mountain biking, that’s a whole other story—definitely not what I was looking for. 😆 I also wasn’t looking for a super fancy road bike either, since I wanted to casually ride around town.
But if you were looking into mountain bikes or road bikes, I recommend making a stop at your local bike shop to ask an expert for some more advice to best fit your needs.
Ok, let’s get into it! Sharing all the best women’s bicycles for casual bike riding.
6 Best Women’s Bicycles
I had to start off with this super cute beach cruiser bike by RETROSPEC. This is definitely one of the more aesthetic-style comfort bikes.
It has a super-cushioned saddle and squishy grips to keep you comfortable your entire ride. Since it’s a beach cruiser bike it only has one speed, which is great if you live somewhere flat.
If you’re stressed about going too fast anywhere, you can ride with ease because of the built-in coaster brakes. It also has a step-through bike frame, which means you can wear whatever you want on it like your favorite sundress or a pair of shorts.
I also really appreciate the tire size on this beach cruiser. They’re usually really big and chunky, but I love that these are thinner and sleeker.
This Schwinn Admiral Hybrid Bike is one step up from the beach cruiser and is better for all of you who live with seasons or have some elevation changes—it’s the perfect city bike!
It has a 7-speed twist shifter with a Schwinn rear derailleur that lets you have quick gear changes while you ride. The front and rear alloy linear-pull brakes provide a smooth slow down to break.
I’m in love with the steel retro city frame and fork that gives off a stylish and comfortable ride. The best part (in my opinion) is the convenient rear rack that lets you carry all your things with ease.
The tires are also on the thinner side, which makes you look like you’re riding with style. With all of these features and the price, this is one of my favorite hybrid bikes.
Liv Cycling has one of the best selections of women’s bicycles out there—they literally design bikes for women and they’re made by women.
The Liv Flourish 4 has key features like having a lightweight ALUXX-Grade aluminum frame, a cushioned spring seat for an upright riding position, and a chain cover with integrated fenders to keep you dry with weather changes.
This style comes in 2 different colors: Pale Mauve and Trekking Green—I would totally get the Mauve shade. 😍 I love the step-through design that makes hopping on and off super easy.
The Flourish 4 has more range in features when it comes to a solid leisure-style bike. So if you’re looking for a high-quality bike that has everything you could imagine, this is the perfect bike to invest in!
The Kent Women’s Belmar Cruiser Bike is another super cute option. It comes in a teal blue color that has major summer energy.
If the rear back storage wasn’t enough for you, you’ll probably love that this cruiser has a basket on the front and rear storage on the back. This bike would be perfect if you love going on picnics or prefer biking to stores in town.
In terms of specs, this cruiser bike has a lightweight aluminum frame with a super-soft wide comfort cruiser saddle. It also has coaster brakes to help you ease into your stop.
If you live somewhere with rain or ever have to bike over a puddle, the wide fenders have got your back. You can ride with confidence on this bike!
These sixthreezero hybrid cruiser bikes have a super fun design and give you a little bit more than the traditional cruiser bike. It comes in 4 different colors, but the mint green is my personal fav. ✨
It comes with 7 different speeds to take you through the city or even regular commuting. The front and rear handbrakes make riding stress-free.
I love the detail of the brown synthetic leather saddle and grips. The low swooping frame makes hopping on and off super easy.
The biggest feature to me was that the frame keeps your body properly aligned to prevent any soreness in your wrist, shoulders, and back. The pedal position even lets your legs get a full extension.
Last up is this cool Hiland Hybrid Bike in Mint Green. It has a more classic and standard bike design with features like a bell and a comfortable saddle.
I appreciate that the frame is fully customizable with grip handlebars and hybrid wheels. These style wheels are super durable and made to be reliable in any weather condition.
One thing to keep in mind when ordering is that it will come dissembled, but you can pay extra to get it put together.
Those were all the best women’s bicycles to choose from! I hope this guide helped narrow things down for you.
