I’ve taken an interest in haircare, and Amika hair products have easily become my recent go-to’s! Their packaging really got to me because it’s so bright and colorful.

I’ve also been seeing their products all over social, so obviously, I had to pick some up to try—I love that they have a hair care product for any hair concern.

They also have some really cool hair-styling tools that have caught my attention, and I’m thinking about trying them out. 👀

Sharing all my recent favorite Amika hair products that you should add to your hair care routine!

About the Brand

Amika was created for every hair type, texture, and style. They focus on creating high-quality and clean hair care products.

All of their products are made free of sulfates, parabens, and aluminum starch. They’re also cruelty-free, sustainable, and give back to the HairToStay non-profit organization.

Every bottle of their product is made with sea buckthorn, a “superfruit” with fatty-acid omega 7—this ingredient is amazing for promoting healthy hair and a healthy scalp.

1. The Kure Bond Repair Shampoo & Conditioner

The Kure Bond Repair Shampoo and Conditioner have been amazing at repairing any damage in my hair and preventing any future breakage—I love how the formula lathers and strengthens my hair.

Every time I get out of the shower and let my hair air dry, it looks voluminous and silky. Both the shampoo and conditioner work to repair and hydrate any damaged hair.

These products have an innovative bond cure technology that targets the bonds in your hair to prevent breakage from daily wear and tear. The shampoo and conditioner also contain plant butter and vegan proteins to give your hair lots of nutrients.

I love the classic Amika smell that isn’t too overpowering and leaves my hair not looking greasy. Your hair will be feeling so much healthier after using the Kure Bond Repair Shampoo and Conditioner.

2. Perk Up Dry Shampoo

I’ve tried a few dry shampoos in the past, but nothing compares to the Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo. 🤩

Not only does this dry shampoo make my hair look freshly washed, but it also adds so much volume.

The best part is that the Perk Up Dry Shampoo has an amazing scent and doesn’t leave any white residue.

I love bringing the mini size whenever I travel or have shoot days because I can quickly perk up my hair when needed.

This dry shampoo also extends the time between my washes, which is a huge bonus—my scalp always feels refreshed after spraying a few spritzes throughout my head.

3. Soulfood Nourishing Mask

Whenever I feel like my hair needs a pick-me-up or a little more hydration after a long day at the pool or beach, I always reach for the Soulfood Nourishing Mask.

This ultra-rich mask is loaded with vitamins and nutrients to soften and smooth your hair.

The Soulfood Mask works on all hair types but works best if you need deep hydration—it’s made with jojoba seed oil and sea buckthorn, which are super powerful at giving your hair all the essential nutrients.

I like using this hair mask about once a week, and all you need to do is apply and let sit for up to 10 minutes after you’ve conditioned your hair.

If your hair is ultra-dry, you could even use the Soulfood Nourishing Mask a few times a week to retain moisture.

4. Reset Pink Charcoal Scalp Cleansing Oil

The Reset Pink Charcoal Scalp Cleansing Oil is essential whenever I use a lot of dry shampoos or notice I’m starting to get dandruff.

This purifying pre-wash transforms from oil to foam, breaking down any product build-up on your scalp.

The Scalp Cleansing Oil has a minty smell and cool feeling once applied to the scalp—it refreshes my hair without stripping it and making it irritated.

Amika’s Reset Pink Charcoal Oil works on all hair types, especially if you tend to have a dry and itchy scalp.

All you need to do is apply a few drops of the Charcoal Oil to your scalp prior to washing it normally with shampoo. Your hair will be thanking you after this treatment!

5. Bust Your Brass Shampoo & Conditioner

I don’t have blonde hair, but I had to include the Bust Your Brass line because so many of my friends who do have bleached hair swear by this. The shampoo and conditioner help tone out any brassy hues while strengthening your hair.

The ultra-violet shampoo and conditioner brighten your blonde, leaving your hair looking extra healthy—they contain ingredients like quinoa protein, plant butter, and ultraviolet pigments to protect your hair.

Using this shampoo and conditioner on blonde, silver, or gray hair will instantly revitalize the color while preventing any future damage.

Thanks to the Bust Your Brass Shampoo and Conditioner, you don’t have to worry about your hair looking yellow or orange.

6. Dream Routine Overnight Hydrating Mask

Whenever my hair feels extra dry or needs hydration, I like to use this Dream Routine Overnight Hydrating Mask.

All you need to do is go to bed with a few pumps, and you’ll wake up with smoother hair.

This Overnight Hydrating Mask is infused with ingredients like hyaluronic acid, coconut water, blue algae, and sea buckthorn—I also love that this is a moisturizing no-rinse treatment.

Amika says the Dream Routine Mask has long-lasting benefits that will last up to four washes.

7. Blockade Heat Protectant Serum

If you’re looking for a nice heat protectant that hydrates while protecting, this Amika Blockage Heat Protectant Serum is perfect.

This Heat Protectant Serum works amazingly on any hair type and protects your hair from heat damage while styling.

The Blockade Serum prevents moisture loss while adding loads of shine without greasiness—since it’s loaded with nutrients, it also provides a humidity-proof layer while also strengthening your hair’s barrier.

Those were all my favorite Amika hair products that I’ve recently tried—I can’t get enough of them!

Since using Amika, I’ve noticed how healthy, thick, shiny, and voluminous my hair looks. I can really tell that these products were made to be salon-quality.

I recently used some of their products (because my stylist used to work at an Amika salon in NYC, and swears by it), but I felt like it made my hair overall more oily. It's hard to find the right thing for each hair type.

Ooh I haven't had that experience. I also experiment with how much product I use--for ex with the hair serum, I use a small amount and just on the ends.
