If you’ve been on the hunt for a new pair of running shoes, I highly highly recommend any of the Hoka shoes for women. I had no idea what I was missing out on until I got a pair of Hokas myself.
I first heard about Hokas from…my dad, lol. He was absolutely raving about them.
And then, I started seeing them everywhere. And not only was I seeing the shoes, I was seeing people stop other people wearing Hokas (including my dad) so they could rave about their Hokas together, like a cult.
I had to try them. Turns out, they’re worth the hype.
I love the quality and the support that their running shoes have. I have struggled to find running shoes that have a lot of cushion to support my road running—the Hoka shoes for women did not disappoint.
I also have narrow feet and a wide arch, so it can be challenging to find running shoes that have the right support.
About the Brand
Hoka One One is known for providing high-quality running shoes for women and men. I love that they have their Time to Fly 30-day guarantee to ensure that every person buying their shoes absolutely loves them—they’re supposed to make you feel like you’re flying. 🤩
They have designed running shoes for any occasion whether that be for running on the road or on a trail.
Now that they’ve grown in popularity, you can find more casual style shoes as well that have a street aesthetic to them like leisure sneakers or sandals.
6 Best Hoka Shoes for Women

1. Hoka One One Clifton 8
Starting off with one of their most popular Hoka running shoes, the Clifton 8. These come in a ton of different colors like classic white, blue, or so many more.
It’s designed for everyday training or road running. They’ve also upgraded the shoe with an ultralight midsole foam, is 15% lighter than the Clifton 7s, and has a very breathable mesh lining.
I also love that it’s made with 100% vegan materials and has an extending pull tab to make putting on the shoes easier. This style also comes in a regular size and a wide size to accommodate everyone.

2. Hoka One One Bondi 7
The Hoka Bondi 7 is also a road running shoe that is super supportive for cross country or even everyday walking—if need that extra support.
This style comes in a few different colors and has wide options. It is designed with amazing memory foam that cradles the ankle to bring a lot of ankle support.
It also has an additional midfoot structure that provides a lot of support in combination with the TPU overlay. The beveled heel design offers a smooth transition and increased durability to keep you working out for longer.

3. Hoka One One Arahi 6
The Arahi 6 is another great road running option. They also have a ton of different colors and a wide option for all my wide feet friends. 😉
These shoes are designed to be ultra-lightweight and ultra-stabilizing. It has a pull tab and mesh upper for breathability.
I love that everything is made with recycled materials and they’re supposed to make you feel like you’re gliding when you’re running.

4. Hoka One One Challenger ATR 6
If you’re looking for a nice pair of trail running shoes, the Challenger ATR 6 is really great option. The only downside is that this style doesn’t come in as many colors as their road running options.
These are all-terrain style shoes, which means they perform well on both the trail and the road. If you decide to solely use these for the trail, they’ll feel lightweight and have a lot of traction.
I love that this shoe was designed with sustainability in mind—everything is made with recycled Unifi REPREVE® yarn derived from post-consumer waste plastic. These are also made to be breathable and easier to put on.

5. Hoka One One Speedgoat 5
If you’re someone who does a lot of hiking and especially on steep cliffs, these Speedgoat 5’s are a really great option for you. These are definitely designed for the more advanced trail hiker or runner.
These have a lighter midsole compound and a double-layer jacquard mesh to keep you prepared for any terrain. They’re made to be extra lightweight with plush cushioning and come in a few color options.
The only downside to these is that they don’t carry a wide option, but if you have a regular or narrow-sized foot these will provide you a lot of support.

6. Hoka One One Clifton L Suede
I had to include these amazing Clifton L Suede every day sneakers. These are super aesthetic and make great walking shoes with all the built-in support.
Currently, they only come in one color, which is the shortbread and radiant yellow combo—I’m obsessed. 😆 I love how street and casual these look with the suede detailing.
The neutral color and comfort will easily make these your everyday shoe. Since these are unisex shoes, the fit should be comfortable for all my wide-foot ladies.
Those were all my favorite Hoka shoes for women! I know they have so many options to choose from, but no matter which style you choose you’re going to be very happy with them.
I know they can be a little bit on the pricier side, but they’re so worth it for the stability, quality, and cushioning. You can even enjoy free shipping and quick returns if they don’t work out for you.
