For the past week, I’ve been Googling, “What are the best Nike shoes for walking?” I’ve been enjoying going on neighborhood walks in the morning (hot girl walks ftw!), and getting some steps in with my desk treadmill (read my post on best foldable treadmills here), but I need comfortable shoes.
I have a few pairs, but after trying different ones on every walk, they all have a couple of flaws except one pair. I have a pair of Nike walking shoes that don’t let me down and I’m convinced I need another pair or two.
Nike shoes are so comfortable and perfect for my walks and potential hikes. It all depends on the person, but I feel as if they support my foot very well.
Not only that, their styles for women are everything—comfy and cute.
If you’re looking to add a new pair of running shoes to your collection, keep reading my six picks of the best Nike shoes for walking!

7 Best Nike Shoes for Walking
1. Nike Renew Serenity Run Premium
I need to talk about these first since they’re my absolute favorite pair. These are extremely comfortable and I can’t stop raving about them to my friends.
I randomly purchased this pair not too long ago because I thought the colorway was cute. Not only were they cute but also on sale—it was a win for both my wallet and me.
The shoes feel like they hug my feet, and like I’m walking on clouds when I wear these. Although they feel very cloud-like, they’re very sturdy!
I’m a huge fan of these and might just treat myself to another pair.
2. Nike React Infinity Run Flyknit 2
I saw these cloud-like shoes on someone while I was doing errands and was completely intrigued—they’re very stylish as well.
While I found out that they come in a variety of colors, the white pair speaks to me—they just look so sleek. A good white athletic shoe will pair great with all athletic attire.
I tried these on in-store and loved them. These, just like the first pair, feel like I’m on clouds.
They give my feet a lot of support and overall are just comfortable AF.

3. Nike Air Zoom Pulse
These Nike Air Zoom Pulse were brought to my attention through a friend of mine. These shoes are specifically designed for nurses who are on their feet all day—shout out to the healthcare professionals!
These shoes come in four colors and are even waterproof. My wear for them would be minimal in comparison to nurses but they’re soooo comfortable.
These have great support at the heel and almost feel like you’re walking on foam.
For them being athletic shoes, the second I slipped them on they kind of felt like some comfortable slippers. These must be an absolute game-changer for those with extremely long work shifts.
The black pair is my favorite, I might have to get myself another pair.
4. Nike Air Zoom Vomero 16
These shoes are highly rated for a reason—they’re so comfy! These are probably one of the most lightweight pairs of shoes I own.
When it came to buying these, I was going to go for a classic black and white moment but decided to change it up a bit. I don’t own a ton of colorful walking shoes, but I thought the pink pair of these were enough to add a little pop of color to my workout fits!
They have enough stretch to them—the wide foot club has finally been heard. They also have a good amount of ventilation thanks to the breathable mesh!
They’re very durable and unbelievably comfortable—run to get your pair ASAP.

5. Nike React Miler 2
Just like the previous pair, these are a dream to own. I think I’m going to have these along with the first pair I mentioned in heavy rotation for my walks.
These are also extremely lightweight! However, their weight doesn’t sacrifice their comfortability because they have good cushioning.
They support my feet well; it almost feels as if they’re hugging them. You can walk all day in these and not feel it at all.
These are high-quality shoes and I have no complaints about them!
Plus, how cute is this color?
6. Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38
This pair is what I’d use as an everyday shoe. They’re comfortable enough for both working out and whatever the day throws at you.
My absolute favorite is the baby blue pair. The white pair initially caught my eye but I’m always looking for something a little different.
These shoes are super breathable and cushioned to the max. They look great on—I’m already picturing the gym mirror selfies with these.
They have a variety of colors. It’s impossible to not find your pair.
7. Nike React Phantom Run Flyknit 2
If you’ve ever owned a pair of Adidas running shoes, these are a close contender. The design is almost the same but I think these are a bit better.
The Nike react foam on these shoes is super comfy and sturdy around the heel. It’s almost like it keeps your heel in place to really give unbelievable comfort.
The upper part of the shoe is my favorite since they have no laces. The breathable mesh upper has to be the best thing about them!

While some of their shoes come with a hefty price tag, their inexpensive alternatives still offer great quality. Nike shoes tend to last quite a while!
From personal experience, I find them to be great for cardio workouts but they’re not ideal (at least for me) when it comes to doing weights.
While they’re extremely comfortable, I would still go with appropriate hiking shoes rather than running shoes. Hiking shoes have better a grip in comparison to a running shoe on trails.
