Best Bend Oregon Restaurants
The Lemon Tree
The Lemon Tree is the ultimate spot to grab brunch in Bend, and it’s one of my favs on this list.
This charming restaurant is owned and operated by two female chefs (Jaclyn Perez and Betsy McDonald) who know how to cook a seriously delicious brunch.
Each dish that comes out of The Lemon Tree’s kitchen is beautifully plated and packed with fresh flavor.
From classics like avocado toast to unique offerings like jumbo lump crab cake salad, your taste buds are in for a heavenly treat regardless of what you order.
The Lemon Tree uses the most delicious fresh ingredients sourced from local farms, and the atmosphere is always friendly and inviting.
To start your day off on the right foot, make sure to try the hazelnut espresso martini—it’s indulgent but so tasty!
The Sparrow Bakery Northwest
Another delicious Bend restaurant for breakfast is The Sparrow Bakery Northwest, which also has another location in Portland.
This cozy bakery cafe serves up some of the best pastries and bread in Bend like apple tarts, chocolate croissants, and sourdough bread—yum!
The Sparrow also offers a full breakfast and lunch menu with savory quiches, sandwiches, soups, salads, and more.
The perfect way to start a day in Bend is a cup of Sparrow Bakery’s fresh, locally-roasted coffee paired with a melt-in-your-mouth pastry.
One of the most iconic menu items at The Sparrow Bakery Northwest is the Ocean-Roll, a pastry made of croissant dough rolled up with cardamom, vanilla, and sugar.
McKay Cottage Restaurant
Situated in a 1916 craftsman bungalow, McKay Cottage Restaurant is an incredible Bend breakfast spot for home-cooked favorites.
This cozy cottage has been voted Best Breakfast in Bend every year since 2010, so you know it’s the real deal.
From classic American dishes like egg scrambles and fresh-baked muffins to tasty creations like a white bean chicken chili omelet, McKay Cottage Restaurant has it all.
If you can only try one thing at McKay Cottage Restaurant it has to be their stuffed French toast filled with mascarpone and marionberry preserves—it’s to die for!
Nancy P’s Bakery & Cafe
Nancy P’s Bakery & Cafe, located in the Westside area of Bend, is the perfect restaurant to grab a quick breakfast before hitting the road for a day of adventures.
This cafe serves familiar breakfast and lunch favorites like omelets, burritos, and sandwiches, as well as freshly baked pastries.
Their savory breakfast pockets are the perfect to-go breakfast filled with egg, cheese, and your choice of meat or veggies.
Everything at Nancy P’s is freshly made with local ingredients, making this a great spot for dine-in or takeaway.
Cafe Sintra
Cafe Sintra is one of the best Bend Oregon restaurants for Portuguese food.
This restaurant is named after the town of Sintra, Portugal (I’ve been and I can tell you, it’s magical) and serves Mediterranean-inspired cuisine in a quaint and cozy atmosphere.
Signature dishes at Cafe Sintra include classic eggs benedict, Portuguese-style paellas, and delicious pastries like an almond croissant that melts in your mouth. 🤤
Whether you stop at Cafe Sintra for a sit-down meal or pick up a meal for takeaway, everything you eat there is sure to be exceptional.
Bo’s Falafel Bar
Bo’s Falafel Bar is an incredible female-owned restaurant with lots of Middle East-inspired lunch options.
Bo’s menu features classic Mediterranean dishes such as falafel, hummus, and baba ghanoush.
Everything here is cooked to order with fresh ingredients from local markets, and the menu is reasonably priced considering how much tasty food you’ll get.
The vibe at Bo’s Falafel Bar is very laidback and the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, so be sure to ask for their suggestions before ordering.
Bend Brewing Company
A list of the best Bend Oregon restaurants would be incomplete without featuring some of the city’s iconic breweries.
Bend Brewing Company is my fav choice because their food is just as delicious as their beer.
This brewpub serves up classic American comfort food like a fried chicken sandwich and Wisconsin cheese curds.
Make sure to order their soft pretzel as an appetizer—it’d be a crime not to!
Bend Brewing Company also offers a great variety of gluten-free and vegetarian options for anyone with dietary restrictions.
What sets Bend Brewing Company apart is, of course, the amazing beer selection which includes local craft beers and rotating seasonal drafts.
I’m not the biggest beer gal, but when in Rome (aka Bend)!
Crux Fermentation Project
Another one of my top Bend Oregon breweries is Crux Fermentation Project.
When it comes to brewpubs, it can be hard to find one where the food is just as good as the drinks, but Crux has it figured out!
They serve fun twists on brewery classics like a pretzel board and taco dip that are perfect for sharing among friends and family.
The vibe at Crux Fermentation Project is really friendly and laidback and you’ll often see couples, friend groups, families, and dogs enjoying their lawn.
Boxwood Kitchen
Boxwood Kitchen, located in Bend’s Old Mill District, is a casual eatery with insanely delicious food.
This restaurant specializes in elevated comfort food like their signature mac and cheese and some of the best Brussels sprouts I’ve ever had (I’m craving them right now).
The atmosphere at Boxwood Kitchen is always lively thanks to its cozy bar and outdoor patio where you can sip on craft beers or signature cocktails made with local ingredients.
Boxwood Kitchen is one of my top Bend picks if you want to enjoy a delicious meal in a cozy, relaxed setting.
Spork
What started as a casual street food kitchen has become a staple of Bend’s food scene, and Spork is constantly pushing boundaries and creating some truly innovative dishes.
This Bend Oregon restaurant offers an exciting menu of Asian and Latin-inspired dishes with bold flavors, like sweet chili glazed wings and banh mi fries.
The menu at Spork is so creative and unique, I had to hold myself back from ordering one of everything!
Spork is a popular Bend restaurant thanks to its mouthwatering food and eclectic atmosphere, making it a must-visit when in town.
Pine Tavern Restaurant
You can’t go to Bend without eating at one of its oldest (and best) restaurants, Pine Tavern, which has been serving locals and visitors alike since 1936.
This historic establishment is located on a cliff overlooking downtown Bend and the Deschutes River—the gorgeous location alone makes this restaurant worth visiting.
Pine Tavern features classic American cuisine with international influences like spicy steak bites and wild-caught Alaskan fish and chips.
The real star of the menu is Pine Tavern Restaurant’s hot scones served with honey butter which are just heavenly.
Don’t forget to check out the giant Ponderosa growing in the heart of the dining space!
CHOW
One of the best Bend Oregon restaurants that promotes sustainability through locally-grown ingredients is CHOW.
All the food served at CHOW is sourced from local farmers and artisans, ensuring every dish is packed with the freshest flavors in town.
Specialties at CHOW include a leveled-up version of corned beef hash, breakfast crab cakes, and a vegetarian-friendly Veggie Benny loaded with vegetables.
One of my fav dishes from CHOW is their Honey Truffle Fried Chicken Sando that combines buttermilk-fried chicken with smoked bacon, truffle coleslaw, honey butter, and creamy brie—definitely not vegan, but SO tasty.
El Sancho
Next up is El Sancho, one of Bend’s most delicious Mexican restaurants.
El Sancho specializes in Mexican street food, and I can attest they know their stuff!
Tacos are the main draw at El Sancho, with classics like grilled fish and chipotle chicken and more unique offerings like cow tongue if you’re feeling adventurous.
El Sancho is a no-frills counter-serve spot that’s great for a casual lunch with friends.
You can also spot their taco trucks throughout town for festivals, concerts, and special events.
Wild Rose
Got a craving for Thai food? Wild Rose is the spot for you!
Wild Rose is a family-run restaurant that specializes in Northern Thai cuisine adapted from family recipes.
This isn’t your run-of-the-mill pad Thai joint—the Northern Thai dishes served here are full of textures and flavors that are unlike anything I’ve tasted before.
Most items on the Wild Rose menu are served with a sticky Jasmine rice that’s intended to be eaten with your hands (but you can use utensils without fear of judgment).
Meals at Wild Rose consist of small plates designed to be shared and I love the restaurant’s mission to bring people together through delicious food.
Domaine Serene Wine Lounge
If you’re looking for a luxurious wine bar experience in Bend, Domaine Serene Wine Lounge is the perfect spot. It was one of my favorites that we visited!
Domaine Serene offers an extensive selection of wines from around the world, as well as craft cocktails and small plates.
This is the perfect Bend Oregon restaurant to visit during happy hour when you want a drink and something light to eat.
With dim lighting and plush furniture, Domaine is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine after a long day of exploring Bend.

This upscale eatery serves classic steakhouse fare with a modern twist, making it one of the best restaurants in town.
Bos Taurus is the perfect spot to grab dinner and drinks with friends thanks to its upscale yet relaxed atmosphere.
Their menu offers everything from huge, juicy steaks cooked to perfection to lighter fare like salads and fish entrees, so everyone can find something to enjoy.
If I’m feeling peckish but don’t want a full-blown dinner, I love stopping into Bos Taurus for a fresh popover and smoked Manhattan cocktail.
900 Wall
900 Wall is one of downtown Bend’s popular restaurants that serves American cuisine with French and Italian influences.
This fine-dining restaurant offers a wide variety of wine flights and craft cocktails that pair beautifully with Chef Cliff Eslinger’s seasonally-inspired, locally-sourced menu.

From the moment you walk through the doors at Ariana Restaurant, you know you’re in for an extraordinary experience.
Chefs Andres and Ariana Fernandez (a powerhouse husband and wife duo!) use local Central Oregon ingredients to craft incredible dishes and cocktails.
I def recommend splurging on the restaurant’s daily six-course tasting menu that changes seasonally!
Brickhouse
Everyone agrees Brickhouse is one of the best Bend Oregon restaurants, especially for a fancy dinner of steak and wine.
This restaurant’s location in Downtown Bend makes it super convenient for grabbing dinner and drinks on the town, and the atmosphere is perfectly inviting and intimate.
The menu at Brickhouse is full of steakhouse classics like filet mignon and ribeye and some mouthwatering seafood dishes, too.
The Jackalope Grill

The Jackalope Grill is one of the city’s best fine-dining experiences that perfectly combines French and American flavors.
There are plenty of classic French dishes to enjoy at The Jackalope Grill, like escargot and decadent apple tart.
For a more American-inspired option, you can’t go wrong with Crispy Skin Chicken.
Bosa
Bosa is a relatively new addition to Bend’s food scene, but it’s already established itself as a must-visit Italian restaurant.
Nothing beats homemade pasta and Bosa serves some of the best in town.
The menu is full of seasonal flavors that have been perfectly crafted with the freshest ingredients from both Pacific Northwest and European specialty shops.
I love the fact that Bosa puts a big emphasis on sustainability by partnering directly with Oregon butchers, fishermen, and farmers.
From creamy Cacio e Pepe to tender gnocchi with wild mushrooms, each plate at Bosa is cooked to perfection.
Don’t forget to save room for dessert—their homemade tiramisu is out of this world!
Zydeco Kitchen & Cocktails
Rounding out this list of the 25 best Bend Oregon restaurants is Zydeco Kitchen & Cocktails, a Cajun-inspired eatery.
The menu at Zydeco Kitchen consists of traditional Louisiana dishes like gumbo and jambalaya that are packed with spice and flavor.
Chef Steve Helt does an amazing job infusing classic Southern cuisine with local Northwest flavors, creating an unforgettable culinary experience.
