Palate: A Coffee Bar

If you’re looking for a special spot to unwind in downtown Bend, Palate: A Coffee Bar is a perfect place.

Conveniently located just south of downtown, Palate serves only the best beans from Portland-based Coava Coffee Roasters, so every cup is filled with flavor.

Enjoy Palate’s sunny outdoor patio or cozy up inside by the fireplace and you’ll find yourself never wanting to leave.

Palate: A Coffee Bar is a great spot to lose track of time, whether reading a book, catching up with friends, or getting some work done on your laptop.

The baristas at Palate are super friendly and the overall vibe at this Bend Oregon coffee spot is really cool and welcoming.

Palate serves everything from chai and cold brew to kombucha on tap, but I highly recommend trying the Matcha Latte for a burst of natural energy.

Dudley’s Bookshop Cafe

As I was researching to prep for my first trip to Bend I stumbled across Dudley’s Bookshop Cafe and immediately added it to my list of must-visit Bend coffee shops.

Dudley’s Bookshop Cafe is the perfect place to grab a coffee and curl up with a book on a rainy day in Bend.

Located in downtown Bend, this darling neighborhood bookstore offers two stories of best sellers, classic titles, and an impressive selection of used books.

In 2009, Dudley’s became the first bookstore in the country to join 1% for the Planet, an initiative where 1% of their annual gross sales gets donated to local nonprofits.

Delicious coffee that’s also good for the planet? Sign me up!

Grab a book and start your day with a delectable double-shot espresso, or if you’re more of a tea person, indulge in the exquisite whole-leaf Prana Chai exclusive to Dudley’s.

Don’t forget to check out their selection of homemade pastries for an extra special treat.

Since 2009, Lone Pine Coffee Roasters has been serving Bend top-notch coffee and building a reputation for being a community hub where visitors can connect over quality cups of joe.

You can enjoy a variety of specialty lattes made from expertly roasted beans at this cozy cafe.

If you’re feeling adventurous, I recommend the Lemon Cream Latte infused with zesty lemon flavor and topped with a sprinkle of “fairy dust” (don’t ask me what it is, I just know it’s delicious)!

The vibes at Lone Pine Coffee Roasters’ two locations are *chef’s kiss* and it’s easy to see why locals and tourists alike flock to this coffee shop.

Megaphone Coffee

You’ll probably get familiar with Megaphone Coffee during your time in Bend since they not only have a physical shop but also source their beans for a lot of local establishments.
