JUSTIN Winery in Paso Robles is absolutely one of those can’t-miss vineyards in Paso! Located at 11680 Chimney Rock Road.
It’s known for being one of the region’s pioneers, and they have both a tasting room downtown as well as a tasting room at their beautiful estate in the Adelaida District.
We spent an afternoon at their vineyard and estate tasting room and loved it. The setting is so beautiful, I love their wine, and their restaurant serves fantastic food. What more could you want?
We dined at the Restaurant at JUSTIN for lunch and had such a delicious meal.

At the time when we were visiting, they had a mac & cheese dish with sharp cheddar, gruyere, and candied bacon as a special, and you guys, it was absolutely to die for!
Apparently, the chef had originally created it for a mac & cheese competition (which like, where does the line start for being a judge at that competition??), and they were experimenting with serving it as a special on their lunch menu.
I really hope they decide to make that dish a permanent part of their lunch menu because it just may be the best mac & cheese I’ve ever had.
We also had their pizza paired with a glass of Justification, which made for a delicious lunch pairing. Sitting out on their gorgeous patio, enjoying the views with their great food and wine was just the quintessential California wine tasting afternoon.
The restaurant at JUSTIN is open for lunch Thursday – Sunday. If you’re looking to join them for dinner, they offer a prix fixe menu with three different seating times, available Tuesday – Saturday.
If you’re joining for dinner, they even have a shuttle that goes from downtown Paso Robles to their restaurant/tasting room to make transportation easy for you.
After lunch, we went next door to their tasting room to try more JUSTIN wines and learn a bit more about the vineyard.
We sat outside again because it was just so lovely out, and opted for the wine and chocolate pairing, which was perfect after lunch. Their chocolates are made in-house and are so beautiful, as you’ll see in the pic.
I loved JUSTIN’s Bordeaux-style red blends, and it was my first time trying a GSM (Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre), which Omied and I both really enjoyed.
They offer 10 different tasting experiences at their property, including a cave tour, which sounds so fun. If you want to join their wine society wine club, you can read all about it here.
Be sure to check out their events page as well, as they always have a number of special dinners and release parties coming up that you can purchase tickets for.
If you’re looking for accommodations on a vineyard, JUST Inn offers several charming options—I’m dying to stay at the Vintner’s Villa next time!
Let me know what you think if you visit JUSTIN Winery in Paso Robles!
We were just in Healdsburg chatting with some industry people who were heading to Paso for their first time, and JUSTIN vineyards was one of my many Paso wineries recs for them.
