Meritage Resort Spa Terra and pool review, by travel blogger What The Fab

This past weekend I had my best friends from childhood in town, and we had such a fun girls’ weekend in Napa! We spent the whole day on Saturday at The Meritage Resort, indulging in massages at Spa Terra, and enjoying their pool.

We had the best time, and I had to share more about the experience in a blog post! If you’re visiting Napa Valley for a vacation and looking for a hotel to book, The Meritage Resort is the perfect spot—they’re centrally located for all your wine tasting adventures, have all the amenities you could want, and it’s just a gorgeous setting.

And if you’re not traveling and you’re a local like me, spending the day here is such a nice way to treat yourself. When you book a massage at Spa Terra, you get access to the spa (which has a steam room and jacuzzi) and the pool all day!

And not only do you have access to the pool at The Meritage, but guests can also walk across the street to their sister hotel, Vista Collina, to hang out at their pool as well.

As far as spas go, Spa Terra is one of my absolute favorite experiences.

You can check out all the different services and treatments they offer here. Whether you’re looking for skin care and facials, body treatments, or the most relaxing massage of your life, they have you covered.

We were welcomed to the spa with glasses of prosecco and spent some time in the jacuzzi before heading to our massages. Definitely recommend arriving a half-hour early so you can take advantage of the steam room and jacuzzi and just get all zen before your treatment!

Also, pro-tip, if they don’t offer you champagne when you arrive or you’d rather have a glass after your treatment rather than before, just ask!

This was actually my third time getting a massage at Spa Terra (it’s literally my favorite treat yourself thing to do in Napa), and every time I’ve been here the massage therapists have been incredible.

Spa Terra also has a very cute boutique in the spa if you need things like sundries or a gift to bring home.

The Meritage also hosts some really fun events, and they have one coming up that looks awesome. They’re hosting a Women in Arts Dinner on July 20th, which includes a four-course meal with wine pairings and a speaking engagement with several dance icons. You can read a bit more about the event, dance icons Melanie Hamrick, Joanna DeFelice, and Christine Shevchenko, and purchase tickets here.

A portion of the evening’s proceeds supports college scholarships for girls from Napa County schools awarded through a local chapter of Soroptimist International.

Whether you choose to book a spa treatment and spend a day at The Meritage, or to stay here for your next Napa vacation, you’ll absolutely love it. Cheers!
