Do you remember the first time you made a smore? I remember it was in the summertime in July for me and I was with my family in the backyard after a long pool day. We decided to end the night surrounding the fire pit, as my mom passed out graham crackers, marshmallows, and bars of chocolate. I will never forget how delicious and heartwarming the experience was trying my first smore.
By now I’m basically a professional when it comes to s’mores making! You gotta love the toasty and gooey golden-brown crust the marshmallow forms when you roast it over the fire. Eating smores has become the staple late-night snack during a chilly evening for my family.
With this recipe, I decided to transform the traditional smore by combining the flavors of mint chocolate, salted caramel, lemon meringue pie, and dark chocolate BACON— to excite your taste buds. No baking or cooking necessary! You could even set up a S’mores Charcuterie Board with all these ingredients for a fun party snack.
