Ok, so a quarantine birthday isn’t exactly ideal. But there are plenty of ways you can help your friends or fam have a happy birthday, while still practicing social distancing. You can check out my post all about Quarantine Birthday Party Ideas for Adults for how to throw a quarantine bday. But today’s post is all about quarantine birthday gifts! Here are a bunch of gift ideas that are especially helpful and nice to have during coronavirus.
Quarantine Birthday Gifts
There's something so comforting about wrapping yourself up in a cozy robe at the end of a long day after a bath.
Wearing a loungewear set makes you feel so much more put together than wearing sweatpants and whatever on top.
All the depressing news headlines can lead to tossing and turning at night, and a lot of us are experiencing weird dreams while our brains try to cope. Weighted blankets help with anxiety and sleep.
If they have a partner or roommates at home, they'll appreciate this gift. These noise-canceling headphones on Amazon come in a bunch of different colors, and the price is right compared to the $300 Bose ones.
Get them a Kindle subscription so they can read as many books as they want! It’s only $10 per month. Btw be sure to check out my post on 6 books to read during quarantine!
Fill their home with relaxing eucalyptus or lavender scents. We could all use a little extra relaxation right now!
If they're a jetsetter, they've probably canceled trips during quarantine and are feeling bummed out about it. Give them a gift card to Airbnb or their favorite airline so they can start dreaming up their next trip once it's safe to travel again.
Journaling is such a great way to cope with stress, but often times people don't know where to start. This Zen as F*ck mindfulness journal shares prompts and writing activities in a funny, approachable way.
Treat them to a special skincare product you know they'd love but might not buy for themselves. I'd recommend Tatcha or Drunk Elephant products like my favs. A few of my favs from Tatcha are Essence, Dewy Skin Cream, and Silk Peony Eye Cream. And for Drunk Elephant, their Baby Facial Mask and their Marula Face Oil.
Art is another great way to release stress. If they have an artistic side that they've maybe ignored for a while, help them get back in touch with it with this kit.
So many dudes are growing their quarantine beards, including my man. But tbh, a lot of them haven't had such bushy beards before and they don't know how to groom and take care of them. Help a brother out with a beard grooming kit so they don't embarrass themselves on their Zoom calls.
Birthady cake, delivered. Milk Bar delivers around the country, or you could support a local bakery that's near the birthday person that's open and making deliveries.
We're all doing our nails at home, but have they tried press-on nails? I'm obsessed (read my imPRESS nails review here). You can put together your own little gift box with a few different sets, an extra nail glue, and cuticle sticks.
I love seeing what new skills my friends are picking up—playing the ukelele, video editing, photography. Gift them a couple of months of Skillshare so they can dive into a new hobby.
Don’t forget to send them a card! There are some pretty funny quarantine birthday cards on Etsy.
