Oh heyy Friday before a long weekend! You’re looking especially lovely. This week I’ve been trying out some new hair products that I’ll be taking into the three day weekend with me. Head & Shoulders has a new Fresh Scent Technology Collection that includes a water-activated fragrance boost, and I got to try out the green apple scent. Heavenly! Beautiful hair has never smelled so good.
My hair naturally dries stick straight, but I was inspired by Sofia Vergara’s amazing hair and decided to do a toned-down, loose wave version on myself. Here are four easy steps to loose waves:
1. Start with a clean and fresh foundation by using Head & Shoulders Shampoo and Conditioner. Because who doesn’t love flake-free hair that smells amazing?
2. Blow dry hair and create volume on the sides and crown by lifting the hair with your fingers.
3. Comb hair back and then use the tip of the comb to part hair in the middle.
4. Curl hair away from the face using a 1 ½ inch curling iron. Let hair cool and comb through with fingers to loosen up waves.
Voila! Super easy. I’ll be rocking my loose waves to a Bloody Mary bar brunch and to the horse races this weekend! Where will you be rocking your waves?
For a chance to meet Sofia Vergara herself, follow @HeadShoulders on Twitter and post a photo of your gorgeous, flake-free hair tagging #PartOfOurFamily #sweeps and @HeadShoulders. The sweepstakes kicks off Monday, August 18 and will run until September 1. Good luck!
