Even Chipotle’s drink offerings have suffered from inflation. Ten years ago, a large-sized soda cost under $2. In 2024, you’ll have to shell out $3.40 to quench your thirst with the same amount of beverage.

A side of guacamole costs 64% more today than ten years ago. In 2014, you could add a small serving of guac to your meal for $1.80. Nowadays, you’ll have to pay nearly $3 for a side portion.
Chips and Salsa
Price increase: 63%
While many sit-down Mexican restaurants offer chips and salsa for free, Chipotle charges you for this meal addition. Chips and salsa used to cost $1.75, making it a no-brainer to order. In the past decade, the price of this menu item has increased to $2.85.
