By comparing menu prices from 2014 to 2024, FinanceBuzz determined that the fast-food chicken favorite has seen an average price increase of 55%. This far outpaces the national inflation rate of 31%.

How does Chick-fil-A inflation compare to other fast food chains?
While the price of some Chick-fil-A menu items has risen by upwards of 70%, the restaurant’s overall inflation rate is much lower than that of other chains. According to FinanceBuzz, McDonald’s is the worst offender, with an average price increase of 100%. Chick-fil-A is on par with other fast food offerings like Arby’s, Wendy’s, and Burger King.
Southwest Salad
Price increase: 70%
Chick-fil-A’s Southwest Salad has soared in price since 2014. A decade ago, the entree salad cost under $6. Today, the same salad is nearly $10.
Grilled Nuggets Kids Meal
Price increase: 62%
Even kids’ meals aren’t immune to inflation—the grilled nuggets option at Chick-fil-A has increased by 62% in the past decade. It used to cost $4 but is now $6.45.
Spicy Chicken Biscuit Combo
Price increase: 59%
Many love Chick-fil-A’s spicy chicken biscuits, though the combo meal has steadily become more expensive. A spicy chicken biscuit combo, which includes a side and a drink, was $4.45 in 2024. Today, it costs over $7.
Grilled Chicken Club Combo with Cheese
Price increase: 58%
The grilled chicken club with cheese is another combo meal feeling the effects of inflation. In 2014, this meal was relatively affordable at $7.59. Since then, it’s risen in price by 58%, now costing almost $12.
Cool Wrap
Price increase: 57%
While the Cool Wrap is a healthier Chick-fil-A menu option, it isn’t better for your wallet. A wrap used to cost $4.95 a decade ago but is now $7.79—not including a side or a drink.
Small Soup
Price increase: 57%
Soup may not be Chick-fil-A’s most popular menu item, but its price has increased by 57% since 2014. Ten years ago, you could expect to pay $2.45 for a small cup of soup. Today, the same amount of soup is $3.85.
4-Piece Chick-n-Minis
Price increase: 54%
Chick-n-Minis—bite-sized nuggets sandwiched between mini honey butter-coated yeast rolls—are a breakfast classic at Chick-fil-A. However, you’ll pay 54% more for a 4-piece order in 2024 than in 2014. This menu item has jumped in price from $2.95 to $4.55.
Chicken Sandwich Combo Meal
Price increase: 46%
Are you craving a classic Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich combo meal? This lunchtime favorite was reasonably priced at $5.85 a decade ago, but it’s soared to almost $9 in the past ten years.

Price increase: 43%
Chick-fil-A’s desserts have fallen victim to inflation, too. In 2014, you could get a cookie for $1.15. The sweet treat has risen by 43% over the past ten years and is now priced at $1.65.
Medium Waffle Fries
Price increase: 42%
Even the price of Chick-fil-A’s beloved waffle fries has steadily risen. A medium side of fries was just $1.65 in 2014. As of 2024, these fries will now cost you $2.35.
