There are few things better than having a bottle of booze show up on your doorstep on a Friday afternoon. Thanks to Bacardi, that’s exactly what happened to me a few days ago, and it was delightful. I decided to make a couple cocktails for myself and the beau to kick off the weekend.
To spice things up a little, I picked some tiny flowers from a nearby garden (thank you, anonymous neighbor) and froze them in ice cubes! The trick is to fill the cube halfway with water, add the flowers, freeze it, add more water to the top of the cube, and freeze it again. Be sure to rinse off your flowers first to get rid of any dirt and little friends (aka bugs) that may be on them. I also had some blueberries on hand so I plopped a couple in as well.
There are three things I loved about this right off the bat:
1. It’s super easy. You literally just pour over ice.
2. It’s only 95 calories per serving. I love fruity, sweet drinks, but don’t love the cals.
3. It’s got a kick to it! This stuff is not weak. So you’re in for a fun night.

If you’re looking for more cocktail inspo, try a Mangonada next!
