Sharing an Airbnb Monterey guide! Monterey, once the capital city of Spanish (then Mexican) Alta California, is one of my favorite places for a long weekend vacation in CA.
It’s the host of art and music festivals, former industrial buildings turned coastal attractions, and a great base from which to explore the rest of the Monterey Peninsula at large, including its numerous beaches.
If you’re thinking about traveling to this California destination, there are a lot of cute, cozy, and beachy Airbnbs to choose from. If you need some inspiration, no need to worry—here’s a list of my favorites!

This 1930s Monterey Bay bungalow is full of charm and contemporary cool, a place where modern fixtures and fittings mingle with vintage pieces (even the retro fridge).
It's easily one of the prettiest vacation rentals out there right now. From its bright yet cozy spaces to the mid-century modern furniture and pastel color tones that decorate them, it's all super cute.
A super cute beach house, it's located near the coast, Carmel and Pebble Beach.

"Chic" is definitely the right word to use here. If you want style when you're away on your Monterey vacation, you should definitely consider this place.
It's set slightly inland, but that just means you're pretty much equal distance from Monterey sights like Cannery Row and shoreline favorites like Pebble Beach. It's the best of both worlds.
The style in this super comfortable apartment is light, airy, and minimalist. Think white walls brought to life with pops of color.

Equal parts stylish and homey, this place features minimalist furnishings and bright rooms for a refreshing stay in Monterey.
But it's not just the decor that makes this one of my favs here: it's the kitchen with its wine cooler, the fireplace in one of the bedrooms, the spacious outdoor patio, and all the other perks.
It's also within easy walking distance of downtown Monterey, the beach, and Monterey Bay Aquarium.

This luxurious mini-mansion is definitely one of the most unforgettable Airbnb rentals! It looks more like a large house but is decorated so upscale it feels like you're living in luxury, but with that being said this place is not pet-friendly.
