What’s in My Son’s Easter Basket: Easter Gift Ideas for Little Ones

Easter basket gift ideas, by lifestyle blogger What The Fab

I’ve fully embraced my “mom who curates themed holiday baskets like it’s her part-time job” era, and honestly? I’m thriving.

This year, I’m putting together two Easter baskets: one for my toddler son (who thinks even the smallest surprises are pure magic) and a sweet little one for my baby niece.

My son is at that stage of toddlerhood where toys, books, and stickers are the coolest things on earth, and building his Easter basket has made the whole season feel extra fun and exciting. Every item I’ve picked is playful, practical, and something he’ll enjoy long after Easter morning.

Here’s exactly what’s going in my son’s Easter basket—plus a few ideas I’m using for my baby niece’s, too.

1. Creatology Boy Bunny Canvas Basket

This Boy Bunny Canvas Basket from Creatology checked all my boxes: structured enough to hold everything without collapsing, cute without being cheesy, and perfectly toddler-sized. I can already picture Roman toting it all around the house and yard! I’m also using the Woven Bunny Easter Basket version for my niece.

2. LeapFrog 6-in-1 Snap & Learn Busy Cube

LeapFrog’s 6-in-1 Snap & Learn Busy Cube is the ideal toy for moms who need a few moments of quiet. It feels like it was designed by someone who actually understands toddlers, with lots of buttons, textures, and little challenges to keep curious minds (and hands) occupied. Since there are so many features and ways to play with the Busy Cube, I know it will entertain Roman for hours.

3. Somebunny Loves You Book

I’m a sucker for a holiday-themed board book, and Somebunny Loves You is sweet, silly, and completely toddler-proof. The puns are an inside joke with my family (as a kid, I had a bunny that would say “Somebunny loves you!”), and it’s one of those books I actually wouldn’t mind reading over and over again. I can’t wait to break it out at storytime!

4. Cling Stickers

There’s no such thing as too many sensory-friendly activities when you have a toddler, and these reusable window clings are such a win. Big Dot of Happiness’s Easter-inspired clings give little ones the joy of “decorating” without you having to spend months peeling adhesive off every surface of your home. The glitter gel versions from Creatology also add a fun texture twist and look cute on windows or the fridge.

5. Wrapables Mini Plastic Dinosaur Figurines

Roman is obsessed with all things dino these days (and roaring), so I had to snag these Mini Plastic Dinosaur Figurines from Wrapables. They’re just the right size to use for Easter egg fillers, and I know he’ll be so excited to play with them. We’re not doing chocolate/candy in our eggs since we are still mostly avoiding sweets, so these are perfect!

6. Petit Lem Sleeper

No Easter basket is complete without a brand new outfit! For Roman, I picked up this soft and stretchy Petit Lem Sleeper with a subtle carrot print that’s perfectly on-theme. I also grabbed the Romper version for my niece so they can match for cousin photos.

7. Mama Coco Winged Bodysuit

I couldn’t resist gifting a Mama Coco Winged Bodysuit to my niece. The wrap design makes it easy to dress even the squirmiest babies, and the fabric is incredibly dreamy. They have some really cute print options that work for both little girls and boys.

Okay, this one is for the adults—we deserve a special Easter treat, too! Vermont Nut Free Chocolate has this allergen-friendly Easter Egg Grand Assortment that’s to die for.

The packaging is adorable and will look so good stuffed in an Easter basket. Each box contains 12 pieces of gourmet, nut-free chocolates with all kinds of delicious flavors and fillings.
