Kajol and Rishabh’s wedding weekend at the stunning Carneros Resort in Napa was nothing short of magical. I had the pleasure of capturing content for Kismet Event Design and Jalsa Catering, and the entire weekend was filled with vibrant colors, heartfelt traditions, and so much joy. From the lively Sangeet to the elegant ceremony and all-night reception partying, every moment was packed with beauty and incredible details.

This was my first time shooting content for an Indian wedding, and let me tell you, it was epic. I had aunties pushing snacks on me and telling me I needed to eat (bless you, ladies), guests handing out beautiful shawls as gifts and giving me one, and I got to enjoy delicious food.
Plus, it was just such a vibe and a party. I was drooling over all the fashion, and I had so much fun shooting all the beautiful traditions. I sincerely hope there are more South Asian / Indian weddings in my future, because it was just such a blast. Here’s a recap of some of my favorite snaps from the day!
An Epic Indian Wedding at Carneros Resort – Day One: Haldi & Sangeet
The festivities began with a sun-drenched Haldi ceremony, where Kismet Event Design transformed the space into a golden oasis. Kajol and Rishabh were surrounded by love, laughter, and vibrant pops of yellow—every moment felt joyful and full of life.

That evening, the celebration continued with a dazzling Sangeet. Kismet’s design featured deep jewel tones, moody florals, dazzling hanging lanterns, and candlelit tables that gave the whole evening a romantic-meets-festive ambiance.
I also had the opportunity to capture content for Jalsa Catering, who absolutely killed it with their food presentation—from an Indian taco station to a pasta bar, every bite was as beautiful as it was delicious.
The energy was infectious, with nonstop dancing and so many unforgettable moments.
Day Two: An Epic Baraat, Ceremony & Reception
Before the ceremony began, Rishabh made his grand entrance with an unforgettable baraat that brought the energy and joy to another level. Set against the scenic backdrop of Carneros Resort, the procession was full of music, dancing, a ride in a convertible, and celebration. Friends and family hyped up the moment with dhol beats and pure excitement. Rishabh arrived in style, surrounded by his crew, and the joy was absolutely contagious—I captured some of my favorite candid content during this part of the day.
The morning of Kajol and Rishabh’s wedding ceremony couldn’t have been more perfect. Held on the picturesque lawn at Carneros Resort, the setting was calm and sunlit—ideal for a heartfelt, open-air ceremony. Kismet created a breathtaking floral mandap filled with soft pastel pinks, creamy whites, and delicate greens that framed the couple against the rolling hills of Napa. Every angle was camera-ready, from Kajol’s graceful entrance to the subtle, emotional moments exchanged between the couple and their families.
After the ceremony, guests were treated to a delicious lunch catered by Jalsa, which featured a Thali buffet. It’s been a while since I enjoyed a good Thali and this was top notch—soo mouthwateringly good!
As the sun dipped behind the vines, guests gathered for Kajol and Rishabh’s stunning reception. Kismet Event Design once again delivered a flawless design—romantic white florals against black trusses, glowing candlelight, and elegant tablescapes that brought the outdoor venue to life. It felt like a dreamy, classic, and so so chic. The couple’s jaws literally dropped when they saw this space!
I continued capturing content for Jalsa Catering during cocktail hour and dinner, and they pulled out all the stops. From artfully plated appetizers to a multicourse dinner that wowed both in taste and presentation, every dish was a visual feast. The true showstopper? A decadent sweets table filled with traditional Indian desserts and modern treats, styled like a luxe patisserie display. It was the perfect ending to a weekend full of beauty, culture, and celebration.
