Last month, I had the honor of being Kristina and John’s wedding content creator for their beautiful wedding at Tre Posti!
We absolutely lucked out with the weather—even though the wedding was in late February, it was a warm, sunny day! The bridesmaids had a whole rack of fur coats that stayed in the closet since they definitely were not needed.
Tre Posti has several different location options for the ceremony, and at the last minute during the rehearsal the day before, the bride and groom decided to switch locations to take advantage of the beautiful weather and vineyard views. It ended up working out perfectly!

During our content planning call before the wedding, Kristina shared that she envisioned mostly organic, behind-the-scenes style content being captured. We settled on a few specific Reels styles that I would edit after the wedding including a recap of the day, some shots of Kristina all done up in her dress, and a first look video.
But the day of her wedding, her bridesmaids were like, “What Reels are we shooting??” lol so I got to work searching for some fun ideas we could do. I suggested a few and we landed on this before/after transition using the iconic “I can’t go out” audio from Mean Girls:
I love how this one turned out! The girls nailed it.
During our content planning call, Kristina mentioned wanting to shoot a Reel of them practicing their first dance, and then somehow transitioning to their actual first dance. We brainstormed some ideas and I suggested coming in and out during a twirl, and this was what we ended up with!
So cute, right??
I also asked John and Kristina to send me a simple voice recording from their phones after the wedding with a few lines from their vows, and created this Reel with the audio:
