How could I not love this place? Located in the Historic Downtown area, this Airbnb has tons of history to match the location. It's a former merchant's home that's nearly 150 years old and boasts a lot of character in its period features.

As a lovely contrast to its historical credentials, this vacation rental has plenty of contemporary touches, with mid-century modern furniture, color-popping artworks, and all of the houseplants.

It's def an Instagrammable spot to be your home base in Lancaster.

Worlds away from Downtown Lancaster, you'll find this place: a farmstead that can trace its history all the way back to the 1700s. If that wasn't cool enough, this Airbnb itself is a beautiful little place to stay.

One thing that I really love about this cool Airbnb in Lancaster is how the bedroom is such a private room of its own, thanks to the big sliding wooden door. Such a nice touch.

But there's more to it than that, obviously. It has plenty of original features and vintage details, like columns and big windows that let in plenty of light. It also has some beautifully polished modern furnishings.

Add in a very attractive per-night price, and I'm finding it hard not to book this place for myself right now!

This place could be my absolute favorite. Like, why even bother looking at hotels in Lancaster? You may not get the full run of an entire house here—it's a flat—but it's stunning enough just as it is.

It's all about vintage chic. The decor has been very carefully curated, with walls painted two different colors and a selection of eclectic and well thought out furnishings throughout. There's even a private bath to have a soak in.

As a bonus, the host is super friendly, too.

This place may not be the urban carriage house you were thinking of, but it's still a total charmer. From the outside, it looks like a historic, rustic sort of place, but inside, it's a whole other ball game.

The interiors are super chic, and it seems to have been put together with the utmost care. There are houseplants, wood floors, boutique furniture, color pops, and a laid-back sense of minimalism.

The double-story deck with a view is particularly awesome: one floor boasts a grill and seating area; on the other, you'll find a hot tub!
