This post is sponsored by FitVine, but all opinions are my own.
You know those memes that are like, “Yesterday I went for a five-mile run and had a salad for dinner, today I’m having a burrito for breakfast, because balance”? I can definitely relate to those. 😂
I believe in #balance and everything in moderation. Especially during this new normal of staying in. We can’t be the perfect epitome of health and salads all the time (at least I can’t).
I love working out and keeping my fitness game strong, and that has especially been important to me this summer while I try to stay strong physically, mentally, and emotionally as we navigate these strange times.
But I also love good food and drinks. #Balance, people!
Well in the spirit of balance, I’ve been enjoying a couple of glasses of wine each week, and I’ve been opting for FitVine Wine! If you’re not familiar with FitVine, let me tell you about why I’m obsessed. FitVine Wine was created to be a wine for people with active, healthy lifestyles. FitVine wines have less sugar, carbs, and calories (amazing, right?). They’re a great alternative for people with dietary restrictions or people doing Keto or paleo diets.
Omied and I just kicked off a round of the Faster Way to Fat Loss program that I did last summer, so a glass of FitVine cabernet has been the perfect weekend treat while still fitting within my macros goals. 🙌🏼
FitVine uses a unique process that allows them to reach lower sugar levels per bottle, without lowering alcohol. Their process extracts more tannins and doesn’t use flavor additives or sulfites.
I know what you’re all going to ask: “But how does it taste? Is it good??” Yes!! FitVine wines are still full-boded and full-flavored without sacrificing ABV. And with fewer calories and sugar per glass, I feel great about drinking it and I don’t feel like it’s “ruining” my workout from earlier in the day.
My favorites are their Zin, Cabernet Sauvignon, and I just recently tried their rosé, and Omied and I both LOVED it. So refreshing on a hot Saturday in Napa while relaxing and drinking in my new adult inflatable pool, lol! I asked Omied for his personal review and he said “10/10, Would drink again!” 😆
They have a ton of varieties, and while I’m personally not a huge pinot fan, I know a lot of my girlfriends are so I thought I’d mention that they do make a Pinot Noir. And I’m also much more of a red girl, so I haven’t tried their whites but they do have quite a few like Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Pinot Grigio, and of course a Sauv Blanc if that’s more your style.
You can find FitVine wines at various retailers including Publix, Walmart, and Whole Foods!
