I can’t believe these photos are over a year old! I shot them in May last summer when I was with my family in Rome.
Looking at these photos makes me both happy and sad at the same time. Happy because we had such an awesome trip in Italy together and it’s a really special memory.
Sad because I miss my family who I haven’t seen much of during the pandemic because we’re all trying to stay home and stay safe. And also because I miss traveling.
Rome was incredible. I’m so looking forward to when we can all travel safely again. But the covid numbers just keep climbing, and as the U.S.’ numbers grow I feel like people aren’t taking the situation seriously anymore, which blows my mind.
Everyone freaked out and stayed home when our numbers were much smaller, and now that cases have skyrocketed, people are acting like things can go back to normal? I don’t get it.
Anyways, I’m just venting at this point. Stay safe, friends! And wear a freaking mask.
