Wedding planning is in full swing and the first thing on our list is to find a venue—the hunt is on! I also wanted to come up with a fun way to ask my bridesmaids to be in my bridal party. I’m not particularly crafty (as evidenced by the fact that I have’t done a solid DIY post in over a year—yikes!) so it needed to be something that was simple, but would still feel special. Ok, so I cheated a little bit and put my fiance’s graphic design skills to use.
I came up with the concept and text and Omied designed these cards that I printed out for my bridesmaids. One side reads, “I can’t tie the knot without you by my side. Will you be my bridesmaid?” and the other side has something cute and sassy and wedding/bridesmaid related on it. I also sent each bridesmaid a dainty gold ring, tied in a knot (get it??). The rings are from my favorite jewelry boutique in San Francisco, Azil.
*If you’d like to print out some or all of these cards for your bridesmaids, go right ahead! I’ve included links at the bottom where you can download each one as a PDF.*
A huge thank you to Azil for helping me ask my bridesmaids in a very special way to be part of my bridal party!
If you’d like to download the cards to print out yourself, you can find them below. If you do use them, be sure to tweet/facebook/instagram me a pic!
