Très Sleek: Smooth and Brilliant with Revlon Hair Tools:
I’ll be honest, I’m good at many things, but doing my own hair has never been one of my strengths. Over the years I’ve learned how to flatter both my body and my face, through styling my clothes and makeup tricks. But hair? That’s always been a tough one for me. I have naturally straight hair and it doesn’t really like to hold a curl (whenever a professional curls my hair I always wonder, “Why can’t I make my hair look that good??”). Since my hair is naturally straight, I hadn’t really thought that straightening my hair with a heat tool would do much for me. But I recently tried one of the newest products in the Revlon Hair Tools collection, and I couldn’t have been more wrong!
I tried the Revlon Perfect Straight 1.5” Smooth Brilliance Flat Iron, which has advanced heat, coating, and design, and I loved how sleek it made my hair! Using this straightener helped flatten down any flyaways, and gave my hair a less frizzy, straight and shiny look. I felt like an Egyptian queen! It was also SO fast, and took me less than five minutes to style this look, whereas when I try to curl my hair, it takes a lot more time, effort, and product. When I was straightening my hair, I just spritzed on some heat-protectant spray, and straightened a small section at a time. I added just a touch of hair spray at the end and voila! Smooth, shiny hair.
My sister taught me that your individual hair has many little breakages, and that using a straighter helps to lay them all down flat, creating that chic, smooth look. I absolutely loved the results and will definitely be incorporating Revlon Hair Tools into my getting ready routine. You can pick on your own at Ulta today. Revlon also sent me their Salon One-Step Hair Dryer and Styler, which is like a combo brush and hair dryer, and I can’t wait to try that one out!
