This is my first summer as a mom and I couldn’t be more excited to make the most of it here in Napa! I gave birth a month ago and am excited to get out of the house when I can and enjoy the warm Napa weather. We recently visited one of our favorite local wineries that we’re members at as a family of three, and I (almost) forgot how much I missed wine during pregnancy.
This was baby Roman’s first time at a vineyard, and it felt so good to put together a cute outfit for our little family outing. Walmart has an impressive selection of chic and affordable pieces for summer, and I loved putting together this wine tasting look.
The star of the show was this Scoop Mixed Media Dress. It comes with removable straps so you can style it with or without them, depending if you want a strapless look. I’m obsessed with this dress’s versatility and the fact that it has pockets. The length is just right and it’s nice and lightweight for hot summer days.

I accessorized the dress with Time and Tru’s Multi-Colored Raffia Drop Earrings and Mother of Pearl Pendant Necklace. The earrings are really fun and eye-catching, perfect for any summer occasion. They added a subtle pop of color that tied the entire outfit together. The necklace has become my go-to recently because it’s understated but stylish and looks way more expensive than it costs. The fact that both accessories are under $10 is the cherry on top!
To finish the look, I slipped into my favorite pair of Scoop Buckle Slide Sandals. These are THE summer it-shoes and come in some adorable colors. I opted for black to match the dress, but the tortoiseshell buckle helps elevate the shoes’ simple design. They’re also under $20, which is an unbelievable steal. I also own the denim version of these!
I can’t wait to style these pieces for more fun summer outings! Walmart has a ton of trendy and fashionable clothes just in time for summer, so be sure to check them out.
Big thanks to Walmart for sponsoring this post!
