Happy Monday everyone, hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Mine went by way too fast and was spent with family and friends up in the foothills of Sacramento, basically eating and drinking and laughing way too hard. Now I’m back on that Monday grind and it’s a triple shot latte kind of day, so I thought I’d share a fun work outfit that I wore last week (and happened to find a wall near my office that I’ve dubbed “the unicorn wall” and totally matched my outfit).
So let me just start by saying, I LOVE Banana Republic’s long sleeve blouses. Love, love, love. I seriously own ten different blouses from BR. Let me break it down for you and tell you why I’m such a fan. First of all, the fit is always super flattering. And secondly, they function as neutrals, but with a twist. It’s all in the details. A snakeskin print, a hint of gold hardware, or ruffles down the front, like on this top. Tucked in or out, sleeves down or rolled up, they always make your look so polished. And that’s why the beginning of my closet is dedicated to several different Banana blouses stacked on top of each other hanging on one hanger. (Gotta save space creatively when you have a San Francisco closet, people!)
