1. The Xport Rooftop Lounge
Starting off nice and strong with the Xport Rooftop Lounge!
This place is seriously swanky and offers an eclectic mix of tasty food and drinks. What makes this rooftop bar so special is that it offers a great blend of indoor and outdoor seating, with amazing views of the city skyline, the Willamette river, and the mountains in the distance.
Enjoy a hand-crafted cocktail here, and their delicious Pisco Sours. The mixologists make sure every drink is garnished beautifully for all your Instagram stories!

2. Departure Restaurant & Lounge
Ooo, I love a good Asian fusion restaurant and combine that with a rooftop bar and I’m in heaven!
Departure Restaurant & Lounge is the perfect place to spend your evening with friends (we went during my friend’s bachelorette party!) or on a romantic date.
It’s located on the 15th floor of the Meier & Frank Building, giving you an amazing panoramic view of the city while you enjoy a delicious cocktail.
The restaurant has a chic vibe, with seating both inside and out for those days when Portland weather isn’t cooperating. The menu has a wide selection of delicious small plates, Asian salads, sushi rolls, and more.
Pair your meal with a delicately curated Old Fashioned and sip the night away.

3. Roof Deck at Revolution Hall
This Portland Bar is great for casual drinks and some snacks. The Roof Deck at Revolution Hall has an amazing view of the city skyline, plus they offer craft beer, cocktails, wine, and food in true Portland style.
Unfortunately, this rooftop is a seasonal bar and is only open during the summer months. But when it’s open, put on your dancing shoes and enjoy great tunes while you sip on some of the best cocktails in town.
The vibe here is so much fun, and it’s easy to spend the whole day here. You’re gonna love it!

4. Metropolitan Tavern
On a sunny day, the view doesn’t get better, it’s just *chef’s kiss*!
When I was feeling like something light but still full of flavor, I headed to the Metropolitan Tavern. Located on top of the Woodlark Hotel, this rooftop bar offers great views of downtown Portland and some amazing cocktails.
The menu features several traditional dishes, like burgers and flatbreads, as well as a selection of small plates with an elegant twist. The drinks here are also carefully crafted, or you can enjoy a selection of quality wines and beers.
And surprise, surprise, I found the best happy hour in Portland. Every day they have two happy hours, one from 4-6 and then 9-close. The classic martini became my go-to!

5. Tope
Did someone say Margaritas?
The Tope rooftop bar is the perfect place to enjoy Mexican-inspired drinks and food while sitting in their whimsical garden.
Located on top of the Hoxton hotel you’ll be greeted with plenty of seating and a fantastic view of downtown Portland.
Finding a good taqueria is hard, but fortunately, at Tope, you can expect some of the best flavors, especially with their delicious tacos. And don’t forget about their famous Coconut Margarita–it’s my favorite!

Noble Rot is the perfect place to enjoy some of the finest wines Portland has to offer. And just like the best wine bars, they’ve got a great selection of cheese and charcuterie plates that are perfect for sharing.
What I love the most about Noble Rot is how they grow their own vegetables, herbs, and flowers on the rooftop, guaranteeing that every single dish bursts with freshness and flavor!

The Radio Room is an amazing spot for enjoying seemingly endless cocktails and drinks. Crazy to think it used to be a gas station in the Alberta Arts District! Yes, you read that right.
They offer a wide variety of traditional favorites, but you can also expect some creative concoctions that are bomb AF.
I loved their covered and heated patio on those cold Portland nights when I wasn’t ready to go home.

9. Lolo Pass
Lolo Pass is the perfect rooftop bar for solo travelers or small groups. It’s located on the roof of a hostel making it perfect for meeting other solo travelers.
The intimate atmosphere gives you a great view of the city, and it’s the ideal spot for enjoying delicious drinks and snacks.
You can also enjoy their coffee bar if you’re needing a mid-day pick-me-up! I’m still dreaming about those cafe lattes.

If you love beer, this is the spot for you!
Laurelwood Brewing Co. has an amazing selection of craft beers and mountainous views from their rooftop patio. Enjoy a pint or two on the extremely casual and laid-back deck.
Chow down on a fat burger, or if you’re feeling in the mood for something a little light, they have some yummy salads and more.
I spent a whole evening here with friends and it was perfect – they have axe throwing too so we made a night out of it!
