I love Paris in the springtime

…I love Paris in the fall. I love Paris in the winter when it drizzles, I love Paris in the summer when it sizzles. I love Paris every moment, every moment of the year. I love Paris, why oh why do I love Paris? Because my love is near. ♪♫

Paris is such a magical city. When I studied abroad there in 2009, I remember thinking I could live there, if I wouldn’t miss my friends and family (and of course, my boyfriend) so much. “Sure, I could learn French!” 😉 This time around on our honeymoon, after only being in Paris for a couple hours (but having had enough time to enjoy an amazing foie gras meal), Omied announced that he could live in Paris. There’s just something about this city that makes you feel like you could (and should) pack up and move.

One of our favorite things to do in Paris was to stop by a boulangerie, patisserie, fromagerie, and a charcuterie to pick up some of their respective breads, sweets, cheeses and pâtés. We’d stuff everything in our bags, head out for some sight seeing, and then make our way to a park to enjoy our spread. For these types of outings, I wore a lot of outfits similar to this one. Comfortable dress + tights and a jacket for when it got chilly + a pair of cute flats.
