I’m so excited to be back with another skincare blog post! Today I’m focusing on hyaluronic acid and vitamin C, which are my two holy grail items in my skincare routine.
If you’re not already familiar, hyaluronic acid is naturally found in our bodies and helps keep our skin hydrated. Over time as our skin matures, we start to produce less hyaluronic acid, leaving our skin drier and less absorbent (boo).
Some easy ways to help the skin are by using hyaluronic acid serums, sheet masks, and moisturizers. There are so many different products on the market to prevent aging and dry skin but hyaluronic acid is one of the absolute best.
Vitamin C is another very powerful and effective skincare ingredient. It’s such a popular ingredient in all types of skincare because of all its loaded benefits like anti-aging.
It also helps with hyperpigmentation. So just add some vitamin C to your dark spots to help brighten and eventually remove any discoloration on the skin.
Some of my favorite vitamin C skin care products are eye creams, moisturizers, or serums.
You may be asking, but can hyaluronic acid and vitamin C be used together? The answer is of course!
These two ingredients are a powerhouse together. They work on all skin types—yes, that even means oily skin or sensitive skin.
So I’m sharing some of my favorite hyaluronic acids and vitamin C products in this round-up. I hope this guide helps narrow things down for you to find the perfect duo!
Top 10 Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C Skincare Products
Hyaluronic Acid

SkinCeuticals Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier
SkinCeuticals is one of my favorite skincare brands because their stuff actually works—you really see the results no matter your skin tone or skin type.
I love that all their products are backed by science and have an emphasis on protecting healthy skin.
They’re expensive, but they’re worth it.
Their Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier is one of the best hyaluronic acids out there because it amplifies your skin’s hyaluronic acid levels. This formula is unique because it’s made with a high concentration of hyaluronic acid, licorice root, and purple rice.
All of these ingredients help improve the skin’s elasticity to reduce any fine lines and plump the skin with hydration. After a few uses, you’ll notice that skin will become firmer and look smoother.
I know this serum is definitely on the pricey side, but like I said, it’s so so worth it. The results you get from using this serum consistently are amazing.
The texture feels nice and the scent is light.

Dr. Dennis Gross Hyaluronic Marine Hydration Booster
The Dr. Dennis Gross Hyaluronic Marine Hydration Booster is another fan favorite. This hyaluronic serum is a time-released concentrate that helps lock in moisture for firmer and softer skin.
It’s super easy to use and incorporate into your skincare routine. After a few uses, you’ll notice your skin getting firmer and a major reduction in fine lines.
I love that the consistency is not sticky at all and absorbs quickly into the skin. Your skin will literally bounce after using this product.
If you have sensitive skin this serum will work perfectly on you. It doesn’t cause any irritations because it’s such a gentle formula.

Glow Recipe Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid Serum
If you’ve been following me, you know much I love Korean skincare so obviously, I had to include this K-Beauty-inspired brand. Glow Recipe has so many incredible skincare products, I’m literally obsessed with them all.
This Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid Serum is another one of my ultimate favs. It’s made with juicy plum and hyaluronic acid—the skin care ingredients are simple—just the way I like it.
It also has a water gel consistency making it easy to soak into the skin. I love that it’s also made with vegan collagen and vegan silk protein that helps to boost hydration in the skin even more.
Say goodbye to wrinkles and fine lines after using Glow Recipe. This is always essential for me, especially in the wintertime when my skin is extra dry.

La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Pure Hyaluronic Acid Face Serum
La Roche-Posay is that classic skincare brand that makes all your skincare essentials. This Hyalu B5 Pure Hyaluronic Acid Face Serum is a solid and more affordable option when it comes it hyaluronic acids.
It does a great job at replenishing your skin’s barrier while also hydrating and reducing the look of fine lines. This serum is also very flexible, you can either apply it before or after moisturizer for extra hydration.
Since it’s lightly fragranced, it works well on sensitive skin. The vitamin B5 in this serum also helps with attracting more moisture to the skin while making it feel nice and smooth.
You’ll also love that the water used in this serum is Thermal Spring Water that is rich in minerals and antioxidants to also help soothe the skin.

Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum
If you read my Skincare After 30 post here, you’ll know how much I love Drunk Elephant. The B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum works wonders at replenishing your skin’s complexion and texture.
Not only does it have hyaluronic acid, but it also has vitamin B5 and pineapple ceramide that work together to make your skin look glowy and hydrated.
The B-Hydra formula also helps with any dryness, fine lines, and elasticity. Using some of this serum is literally like your skin drinking a tall glass of water.
It’s very lightly fragranced and absorbs so quickly in the skin. I love how easy and quick this product works.
Vitamin C

Youth To The People 15% Vitamin C + Clean Caffeine Energy Serum
Youth To The People is a newer brand to me. I first heard of them on Instagram after seeing a few other influencers using their products.
I love that they’re a clean beauty brand that also supports social justice and sustainability. All of their products were crafted with the planet’s well-being in mind.
This vitamin C serum is so cool because it’s also combined with caffeine to stimulate your face in the mornings. The natural caffeine from the yerba mate and guayusa helps reduce any puffiness and brightens the skin while also hydrating it.
The serum is also loaded with antioxidants from dragon and passion fruit to help with any hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone. The glow is seriously unreal in the mornings after using this product.
The consistency of the serum is very silky and light. It doesn’t leave your skin feeling sticky or heavy at all.

SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic with 15% L Ascorbic Acid
I had to include another SkinCeuticals product because they’re so good. This serum is a daytime vitamin C that prevents any environmental stressors to your skin throughout the day.
You’ll notice after using this serum on a regular basis, your fine lines and wrinkles will slowly begin to fade away. The 15% L-ascorbic acid really helps with brightening the skin for a glowy complexion.
The C E Ferulic prevents anti-aging and any photodamage. The ingredients in this serum also help neutralize the free radicals on the upper layer of the skin to prevent the impact of ozone damage to the skin.
With all of these benefits, they do come at a cost. This vitamin C serum is expensive but worth the investment to your skin. I’m obsessed with this one.

Sunday Riley C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum
Sunday Riley is another really popular skincare choice. This 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum is made with advanced vitamin C that specifically targets dullness, anti-aging, and dark spots.
It also has Saccharide Isomerate Extract that minimizes the look of enlarged pores while also smoothing out the texture of your skin to look glowy.
The serum is super lightweight that it absorbs into the skin very quickly. Your skin will start looking hydrated, firm, and youthful.
You won’t have to worry about any greasy residue or irritations since it’s very gentle on the skin. One thing to note is if you’re going to apply this vitamin C in the morning, it’s highly recommended to apply sunscreen right after.

Biossance Squalane + 10% Vitamin C Dark Spot Serum
Biossance is another one of my top favorite skincare brands. I also talked about them in my Skincare After 30 post here.
I love clean the ingredients are and how gentle it is on my sensitive skin. This Squalane + 10% Vitamin C Dark Spot Serum is another magical serum that helps with anti-aging.
The coolest thing about this serum is that it’s made with white shiitake mushrooms. The mushrooms are the key ingredient in majorly reducing the look of dark spots.
After consistent usage, you’ll notice significant brightening to your skin while also dissolving any pigmentation. The vitamin C and white shiitake mushrooms work together to help bring more quick and effective results.

Drunk Elephant C-Firma Fresh Day Serum
Last but not least, I’m back with more Drunk Elephant products. The C-Firma Fresh Day Serum is loaded with antioxidants and fruit enzymes to help prevent the look of aging.
I love that this product is designed for us to mix the ingredients ourselves so we get a fresh formula. This vitamin C is so powerful that it has things like 15% L-ascorbic acid, 0.5% ferulic acid, and 1% vitamin E for a more even-looking and glowy complexion.
The C-Firma in the serum also helps to dissolve surface-level dead skin cells while maintaining hydration. After using this vitamin c serum, you’ll notice your skin looks a lot more youthful and smooth.
Since this vitamin C formula is so potent, it is recommended to layer up on SPF before going out after using this product. You only need a little of this product since a little goes a long way.
Those were all my favorite hyaluronic acid and vitamin c products. I hope this convinced you to start using them in your skincare routine if you haven’t already!
