Recently I’ve been on the hunt for a new pair of black flats that are a little more polished than your typical, rounded toe black flat, but just as comfortable. When I teamed up with my friends at Zappos.com to experience their fast, free shipping and 365 day return policy, I saw these black, pointed toe flats with small gold platforms and criss-cross straps and I knew they were just what I was looking for. They’re super cute, definitely more elevated than the usual black flat (literally and figuratively, ha), and sooo comfy with gel padding in the soles. I really wanted whatever new flats I got to be something I could wear to the office, out to dinner after work, and while running around during the weekend, and these cute suede flats check all of those boxes. And Omied got a new pair of shoes from Zappos too! Doesn’t he look handsome kicking back in his Rockports?
This past weekend we decided spur of the moment to pack up a little fall picnic and find somewhere to enjoy it outside. We didn’t have a particular destination in mind, and with the sun setting earlier these days we ended up chasing the golden hour light and finding this cliff overlooking a golf course and the bay. We also happened to catch one of the most incredible sunsets I’ve ever seen in San Francisco and cuddling up as the sun went down and the evening grew chillier.
