I’ve been bursting at the seams to share some exciting news on here, and now that everything’s all official I finally can! Come February and March 2017, I’m off to Europe for two months! I’ll be working on a project with Google and our tech staffing teams in Europe, and will be based in our London office for most of that time, along with a week long stint in our Dublin office. I’ll be traveling around a bit before I start working there, and am also planning some weekend trips during my project. Afterwards I’ll be hopping around to a couple different places as well. While there are a ton of moving pieces and not everything is finalized yet, I’m hoping to also hit up Scotland, Bath, Bruges, Paris and Iceland. Please send me any and all of your recs if you’ve been to these parts of the world!
A lot of my travel is up in the air right now and I had a mini freak out moment the other day when I realized that between the holidays and an event that I’m running in New York at the end of January, my EuroTrip is going to be here before I know it. Y’all know I am a PLANNER so when these AT-A-GLANCE planners arrived at my doorstep it was just in time! On Sunday I hunkered down with my planners and my travel books (and of course my trustiest of travel advisors, the internet), and I started mapping out my trips, dates, and sights I want to be sure to see. I used my larger planner to get a month snapshot view of travel dates. It’s been slowly sinking in for me that I’m leaving the U.S. for two whole months, but seeing these things start to fall into place in my planner made this big trip feel more real! I’m also using the smaller planner (which has the Eiffel Tower on it, how apropos), to manage my blog editorial calendar while I’m traveling so I can make sure I’m getting those travel posts up for you guys! If you’re planning your own big trip for 2017 or some other epic adventure, the new AT-A-GLANCE collection has a bunch of different designs to help keep you organized.
