Last month while I was in LA I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with BeautyBalm, an adorable beauty studio right on Melrose. While I was there I received a lovely facial from Jen, the owner, and makeup application afterwards so I was ready for a dinner date with friends.
[above] Jen has the gentlest hands out of any aesthetician I’ve ever received a facial from! [below] BeautyBalm stocks a few select makeup and skincare brands, including a few of my favorites (Becca, Glamglow) and a few new-to-me brands like Kevyn Aucoin and Caudalie.
This little gem of a spot is so relaxing and inviting. If I lived in LA I could definitely see BeautyBalm being my go-to spot for an eyebrow wax during my lunch break, or something a little more luxurious like eye lash extensions (I’ve been wanting to try them lately and haven’t yet!
