Ok, I’ve got egg chairs on the brain this summer! I have legit been low-key stalking the Opalhouse Southport Patio Egg Chair—aka, that Target Egg Chair you keep seeing all over Instagram and TikTok!
Basically ever since our offer on our new house was accepted, I’ve been researching furniture every day until I’d go cross-eyed.
And I am majorly excited about finally having some outdoor space and a backyard, so I’ve definitely been spending a lot of time clicking through cute outdoor patio furniture.
And the Target egg chair is just so cute and aesthetic. It’d look great in our backyard!
When I came across Southport Patio Egg Chair on Target, I was all heart eye emoji over it.
But it’s been out of stock for over a month. Womp, womp.
Cue frequency bias and I started seeing this wicker egg chair everywhere. It was like it was taunting me on Pinterest, Instagram, home decor blogs, and TikTok.
Well, during one of my now frequent checks on the Target website today, I saw that the linen color for the Southport Patio Egg Chair is back in stock!
Soo you better believe I clicked “Ship It.” I think it’s going to look so freaking good in our backyard!

We’ve been styling our egg chair with extra blankets and pillows this summer. It’s SO comfortable and easily fits two people. I’m considering adding a hanging egg chair too since we have a pretty sturdy overhang that could work well.
I’m clearly in an egg outdoor chair phase lol.

This wicker egg chair is $150 less than the Target egg chair and looks almost identical—it's just a one-seater instead of being able to fit two people. Which, depending on your patio size, could be a good thing!

This egg chair swing is a great Wayfair find! An outdoor hanging chair just feels so luxurious to me. I love that this egg chair is of the swinging/hanging variety. This wicker hanging chair has a weight capacity is 265 lbs.
FYI some of the hanging swing chairs you see on sites like Wayfair do not include the stand! That's fine if you happen to have a sturdy trellis or something that you can hang your swing chair from, but if not you'll definitely want to make sure your chair comes with a stand, and this one does.

Wayfair has this cute egg chair that's like a teardrop wicker lounge chair. It comes in grey and white and I'm loving the shape! It's got amazing reviews and I found it on Overstock.com for $290 (it's $329 on Wayfair)! I would probably swap out the cushion for a linen-colored one.
I was surprised to see that Home Depot has some legit cute af egg chairs! Frankly shocked it's still in shock, because the grey and all-white options are out of stock, but this beige and white style is definitely my favorite!
This is another super legit dupe for the Opalhouse Target Egg Chair. At $367, it's at a really good price point and it's super cute!
