BottleRock Napa Valley 2026 is the Millennial’s dream when it comes to music festivals.
It’s such a unique music festival—the crowd skews a little older (and frankly, less chaotic), the food and wine are unparalleled, and while there are multiple stages, it’s not overwhelmingly large. Thanks to noise ordinances, performances end at 9:45pm and you can be in bed by a completely reasonable time—none of this sets going until 1am nonsense.
BottleRock does a great job of blending big hitters and artists for headliners with up-and-coming talent that you’ve never heard of but are now listening to nonstop on Spotify.
Once you’ve been, you’ll never think about festival weekends the same way.
This year I went with my husband and then got to link up with a bunch of my influencer girlfriends who were also there, and honestly between the lobster caviar corn dog, Clif Family rosé in the shade, and the Backstreet Boys making me feel 13 again, it was one of my favorite weekends of the year. We’re talking late May in Napa—warm weather, the vineyards in full bloom, and some of Napa’s best food and wine purveyors on the grounds.
Here’s my full recap of the magical moments, bites, drinks, and things worth knowing before you start planning for next year.
What Makes BottleRock Truly Special?
BottleRock is set in Napa Valley, giving it world-class food and wine that no other music festival can match—with local wineries, celebrity chefs, and gourmet restaurants serving delicious bites all weekend long.
Being in Napa gives BottleRock a massive leg up over every other festival when it comes to the food and wine situation. This is where some of the best culinary talent in the world lives and works, and the festival takes that seriously. You’re not eating sad nachos from a cart. You’re eating lobster caviar corn dogs and drinking rosé poured by the winery’s winemaker while watching a headliner belt it out on the mainstage.
The Williams-Sonoma Culinary Stage adds another layer that no other festival has—chefs, celebrities, live cooking demos, and the kind of chaos that makes for great content and even better stories.
A Few Quick Tips Before You Go Next Year
- Get there early for headliners. The main stage crowd builds up well before set time. Don’t show up at showtime expecting a good spot—you’ll want to be there at least an hour ahead of time, more if you care about getting close.
- Budget for food. The bites are worth it, but they add up fast. Go in prepared and just know you’re going to drop a fair amount of $$, but at least it’s delicious food from world-class restaurants and not your average overpriced festival food.
- Activate your wristband to pay with Venmo or PayPal. It’s easy to set up and makes paying for food and drinks so seamless.
- Check the culinary stage schedule ahead of time. They have so many fun celebs and it’s silly and unique to BottleRock.
- Pack a parasol and take advantage of the sunscreen stations. Shade is hard to come by at BottleRock. While umbrellas are specifically listed as a banned item, paper parasols are listed as an acceptable item to bring into the festival. Pack your own parasol so you can have shade wherever you go. It makes a huge difference. I bought this pack on Amazon and shared with friends. And definitely take advantage of the sunscreen stations at the festival, which were sponsored by NorthBay Health this year.

- Be prepared for the heat. This year’s weather actually wasn’t too hot, but it can definitely get really hot, and you are baking in the sun. A few things I like to have on hand or use before I head to the festival to help me stay fresh are: WOO More Play’s Freshie Wipes (pH balanced and keeps me feeling fresh all day long), a swipe of Megababe’s Thigh Rescue plus their Body Dust (absorbs sweat so you don’t have sweat dripping down your back, and neutralizes odor). You can use code WTFAB for 15% off WOO More Play WTFAB15 for 15% off Megababe!
BottleRock Outfits
BottleRock is definitely more chill and relaxed when it comes to outfits than say, Coachella. But it’s still fun to dress up!

Loved this look! The bodysuit and shorts (love the structure on these!) are from Frame (code WTFAB15 for 15% off) and the glam body chain is from Bluebella.

Dress is from ASOS and my body chain is again from Bluebella. Boots are Dolce Vita.
I received SO many compliments on my Bluebella body chains all weekend long. They really elevated both of my looks—10/10 would recommend.
The Music Highlights
Lorde — Friday Night

Lorde on Friday night was one of those sets that reminds you what a truly great live performer looks like. Her stage presence is magnetic—she barely has to do anything and the whole crowd is locked in.
It’s wild to think she first broke through as a teenager and now here she is headlining festivals with this level of command and confidence. Watching how she’s evolved as an artist was really cool. One of the best performances of the weekend, no question.
Foo Fighters — Saturday Night

The Foo Fighters did exactly what Foo Fighters do: showed up, turned it up, and made everyone feel it in their chest. Saturday night’s set was career-spanning and massive—exactly what you want from a rock headliner at sunset over Napa.
Paris Jackson also had a really moody, standout set on Saturday. She performed “Let Down” and “Low Key In Love”—one of those pleasant surprises you didn’t know you needed until it was happening.
Sombr + Backstreet Boys — Sunday Night
Okay, Sunday night was a whole thing and I need you to understand the full picture.
Sombr went on the main stage before the Backstreet Boys and absolutely delivered one of the best sets of the weekend—emotionally charged, atmospheric, and completely magnetic. I’m sure that your Instagram feed has had a lot of 12 to 12 and back to friends all over it as a result.
And then he finished. And the great crowd shuffle of BottleRock 2026 began.
The younger portion of the crowd started filtering out. The rest of us—the millennials—started moving forward. I heard someone near me yell, “Make way, children! Make way for the elder millennials!” and I genuinely almost lost it. 😂 No jostling, no drama—just a bunch of us politely working our way toward the front because we needed to be closer to the Backstreet Boys. Someone near me said we were all just there to see BSB, be respectful to each other and have a good time, and then go home at a reasonable time, and I lolled at the accuracy.

The Backstreet Boys were phenomenal. This was their first-ever BottleRock appearance and they came through in a big way. They performed a full career-spanning set, clearly singing (not lip-syncing—you could hear every note), and had so much warmth with the crowd. They kept stopping to thank everyone, to talk about 33 years together, to acknowledge that people still showed up for them. AJ was a force and ended up being my new fav BSB. He just had such stage presence and a great voice!

Full transparency: I was an NSYNC girly. I know who I am. But that reunion tour is never happening, so I will absolutely take the Backstreet Boys, and it was awesome. I’ve had “Everybody” stuck in my head for days and I have zero regrets.

Also—Ludacris on Sunday was electric. He ran through a string of throwbacks and when he dropped his verse from “Baby,” the entire field became one massive singalong. That moment was everything.
The Best Food and Drinks at BottleRock 2026
I did a little IG Reel highlighting my fav bites and beverages, but a few callouts were:
Under-study’s Lobster Caviar Corn Dog

Yes, it’s $34. And yes, I ordered two.
Under-study’s lobster caviar corn dog was one of the most viral bites of the weekend, and for good reason. It’s indulgent and photogenic and fun to eat—and it actually tastes as good as it looks.
Osha Thai
Osha Thai’s fried chicken and papaya salad was my sleeper hit of the weekend. The chicken was crispy and flavorful and papaya salad was bright and punchy—exactly what you want after a few days of heavier festival food.
Clif Family Winery

The Clif Family lounge facing the Prudential stage is hands-down the best spot on the grounds on a hot afternoon. Pull up a seat, order their rosé, and watch the main stage from the shade.
Their rosé was crisp and light—the kind of glass that makes a hot festival day feel like a vacation. I kept coming back.
Hacienda Patrón

The Hacienda Patrón activation made its BottleRock debut this year and it was epic. They built a two-story bar modeled after their actual bar in Jalisco, Mexico, with music and Patrón cocktails throughout the weekend.
They’re taking this activation to festivals all year, so keep an eye out wherever they show up—it’s worth finding.
The Williams-Sonoma Culinary Stage

The culinary stage is one of the most underrated parts of BottleRock and I refuse to let you skip it.
The whole thing about this stage is that you never know what you’re going to get. One year it might be Antoni from Queer Eye making something gorgeous. Another year it’s the Backstreet Boys doing a cooking demo while Vanessa Hudgens dances on a table. Saturday’s slot featured Iron Chef Morimoto, John Stamos, Adam Devine, and Fred Armisen on stage together—what started as a cooking demo unraveled into improv comedy, taco prep chaos, and a live drum standoff between Stamos and Green Day’s Tré Cool. Completely unhinged in the best way.
Check the schedule, get there a few minutes early, and enjoy some bites while watching the show. That’s the culinary stage experience.
