9 Best Rooftop Bars in Denver
1. The Woods
There’s nothing quite like a cold beer on the rooftop of The Woods in Denver. This ale house has some of the best craft beer in the city and with over 20 different taps, you might find yourself here more than once.
Located on the roof of The Source Hotel, you’ll be able to enjoy the panoramic views with the city’s skyline to your left and the stunning Rocky Mountains to your right.
And with those cold Denver nights, they have two large fire pits to help you warm up if the alcohol isn’t doing its job. Ha!
Location: 3330 Brighton Blvd, Denver, CO 80216, United States
Hours: 7 am – 10:45 pm
2. Avanti Food & Beverage
Avanti Food & Beverage is not your average bar and restaurant. It’s actually a double-decker shipping container full of eateries on the lower level and one of the trendiest rooftop bars in Denver on top.
The atmosphere is casual and the drinks are creative. Their signature cocktails, like their Lavender Lemonade or their Cucumber Mint Mojito, are honestly to die for.
It was packed when I visited as it’s a great place for big groups since there are so many food and drink options to choose from.
You’ll have amazing views of downtown Denver and it’s one of the best places to be for sunset, but bring a jacket!
Location: 3200 N Pecos St, Denver, CO 80211, United States
Hours: 11 am – 11 pm Happy Hour 2 pm – 6 pm
3. Linger
I’ve now seen this trend in more than one place, which is a little weird if we’re being honest. But Linger is a bar on the rooftop of an old mortuary.
It’s kind of like a dive bar meets rooftop bar meets a place where dead people used to lie. But hey, don’t worry, it’s all good vibes now!
Their cocktail menu is always changing to match the food menu, and the food menu is inspired by different chefs and street food around the world.
Location: 2030 W 30th Ave, Denver, CO 80211, United States
Hours: 5 pm – 10 pm Open until 11 pm Friday and Saturday
4. 54thirty Rooftop
My FAVORITE rooftop bar in Denver and it’s not even close.
This rooftop bar is located on the 30th floor of the Le Méridien Denver Downtown Hotel and it has stunning views of downtown Denver.
The open-air bar is filled with sparkly lights, and individual firepits at each table, I mean come on! I hate fighting for a warm place by the fire. It’s perfect!
At 54thirty you can sip on craft cocktails while listening to live music or watch a movie at one of their movie nights. They also have a small plate menu for you to snack on some of their inspired dishes.
It’s first come first served, so make sure to get there earlier in the evening.
Location: 1475 California St, Denver, CO 80202, United States
Hours: Monday – Thursday 3 pm – 9 pm, Friday – Sunday 1 pm – 11 pm
5. The Red Barber
The RiNo district has come to life in the past few years, specifically with this bar. As one of the largest rooftop bars in Denver, it sits atop the Catbird Hotel.
The Red Barber has a buzzing atmosphere and its rooftop patio is perfect for groups or date nights.
They are always having something going on, like rooftop yoga, open-air concerts, and giant life-sized games.
Options are limitless here. You can enjoy craft beer, wine, liquor, and of course, their signature cocktails. They’re always changing throughout the seasons, inspired by holidays, warm weather, and even in-season fruits.
Location: 3770 Walnut St, Denver, CO 80205, United States
Hours: Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Wednesday & Thursday: 4 pm – 10 pm Friday: 4 pm – 12 am Saturday: 2 pm – 12 am Sunday: 2 pm – 9 pm
6. ViewHouse Ballpark
Catch a ball game at Coors Field and then head out to ViewHouse Ballpark for a few drinks. This famous rooftop bar offers incredible views of the skyline and has some of the best margaritas around.
If you’re looking for a more lively experience or somehow make it from day to night here, they have DJs spinning from Thursday to Saturday.

7. Tap Fourteen
Tap Fourteen was one of my favorite rooftop beer gardens in Denver. I absolutely love the open-air bar and there are always so many people which makes for great energy.
What sets this beer garden apart is that every seat offers a view of the Denver skyline and its proximity to Coors Field.
Of course, you can get their craft beer or even some of their crafted cocktails. But their food menu is also something to look forward to. You can order their delicious Bavarian pretzels with a cheese sauce or even some pulled pork nachos. Yum!

Hours: Monday – Wednesday 4 pm – 1:30 am, Thursday – Sunday 11 am – 1:30 am
8. Elevated
Elevated is a rooftop bar on top of the Halcyon Hotel in Cherry Creek and it’s perfect if you’re craving some Asian fusion!
This was the perfect place to meet my friends as we enjoyed sharing some dim sum, sushi, and satay from the hotel restaurant.
It’s also great to enjoy a few drinks while enjoying a sunny day. You can order their signature cocktails with some fruity flavors or even have a lil sake bomb or two.
There’s nothing quite like indulging in some delicious cocktails while admiring a stunning view. The rooftop is surrounded by greenery and trees. It really gives you a sense of escape in the middle of Denver and is perfect for a few Instagram photo ops.
Location: 249 Columbine St #201, Denver, CO 80206, United States

9. Kisbee on the Roof
Let me start by saying, sunsets from Kisbee are A1! This rooftop bar is perched on the roof of the nine-story-high Jacquard Hotel and gives you a beautiful 180 view of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
A romantic evening or a day by the rooftop pool is a must at Kisbee. Make sure to grab a reservation—the weekends here are packed from afternoon until night!
The cocktail menu will make decisions hard, with drinks like the Spiced Pear Devant or their signature Sakura Negroni.
If you’re looking for something more casual and just want to enjoy the view, they also offer wine and beer options. And of course, no rooftop bar would be complete without delicious snacks. Try their loaded hummus or the tasty charcuterie board!
