Scottsdale has so many hotel options to choose from and there are a bunch more currently under construction, so you’ll really be able to find the perfect place that meets all of your needs. There’s also a lot of large, sprawling Scottsdale resorts, but you won’t find those in the heart of Old Town.

Old town Scottsdale is a great place to stay since you’ll be centrally located to everything and can easily easily walk to the cute Old Town area.

1. W Scottsdale

If you’re looking for somewhere super chic and Instagrammable the W Scottsdale is the place to book your stay. This luxury hotel is is located on Camelback Road near the hub of Old Town Scottsdale—so you’ll be within walking distance to all the popular shops and restaurants.

The rooms are spacious with modern furniture and room decor. The bathrooms are also bright and airy with plenty of room to get ready for your day or night out.

The W offers so many nice features like a relaxing spa with makeup and hair styling services, a gorgeous outdoor pool with a beach style bar, and a super modern fitness center that offers weight training and yoga mats.

At night when you’re ready to go out and have fun, you can just walk over to the nightclub bar area at the hotel.

2. Hotel Valley Ho

Hotel Valley Ho is seriously my favorite place to when I come to Old Town Scottsdale.

Everything here is on point from the outdoor pool to the luxurious spa to the super modern decorated rooms. I’m obsessed and it has great reviews.

When you’re done exploring and need to get out of the desert heat, the rooms are decked out with everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay.

The on-site restaurant, the ZuZu Lounge, is chef’s kiss so delicious. They serve American-style cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The cocktails are so yummy and you can also enjoy them on the poolside.

3. Canopy by Hilton Scottsdale Old Town

The Canopy is another gorgeous hotel to stay at. Everything feels super modern and clean with a South West feel.

It’s located only 2 miles away from the Desert Botanical Gardens and you’ll be close by everything in Old Town Scottsdale.

The rooms have stunning wood accents throughout with loads of closet space as well. The bathrooms are nice and spacious giving you plenty of breathing room to get ready with more than one person at a time.

There’s a super fun outdoor pool located on the rooftop of the hotel so you can get overlooking views of CamelBack Mountain. There’s nothing more gorgeous then watching the sunset with the mountains in the backdrop while relaxing in the pool.

Definitely take advantage of the complimentary evening tastings of regional beer, wine, and spirits. They also offer delicious breakfast and dinner options at their Southwest Cuisine restaurant.

4. The Saguaro Scottsdale

The Saguaro is a stunning hotel designed with vibrant colors in mind and all of the architecture is inspired by Mexico and the Arizona desert.

There are 2 outdoor pools here giving you plenty of options without having to worry about the crowds. Lounge in the cabanas that surround the pool and take advantage of the on-site bar.

You can get poolside or city views from your room by enjoying the balcony attached to your room. The rooms are decorated with cute and colorful room decor making the perfect photo opportunity.

If you decide to bring your pup, you’re more than welcomed to do so since the hotel is pet friendly.

When you get hungry head over to the Saguara restaurant that features American Bistro cuisine—you can also enjoy outdoor dining near the pool to get those views.

Not only do you get the pools here, you also get to enjoy a facial or massage at the on-site spa. When you’re done you can head over to the fitness center for a good workout.

5. Hyatt Place Scottsdale

Stay at Hyatt Place Scottsdale to be super close to the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. Enjoy the outdoor swimming pool that is perfect for cooling off while you’re vacationing in the desert.

You’re within walking distance to everything like Old Town Scottsdale and Scottsdale Fashion Square, making it a great location.

The rooms are clean and big enough to comfortably fit a family so you won’t have to worry about space.

The staff here are friendly, and of course, there’s free wi-fi. This is a great place to stay for a relaxing vacation—it may not be super luxe like a resort but it has everything you need at an affordable pricepoint.

6. Hilton Garden Inn Scottsdale

The Hilton Garden Inn is a 5-10 minute walk from Old Town Scottsdale, so you’ll be close to all the trendy restaurants, bars, shops, and galleries.

The hotel has a resort-style feel to it without having that resort price per night. There’s a huge outdoor pool, patio area with a fire pit, a fitness center, and lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine.

The rooms are decorated nicely with super comfy beds and all the amenities you could need. Everything here is clean and the staff is so friendly making your stay more enjoyable.

Definitely take advantage of the on-site dining at the Great American Grill. Their food is so delicious and offer plenty of options and accommodations for whatever your diet may be.

7. Courtyard by Marriott Scottsdale Old Town

The Courtyard by the Marriott is another favorite because everything is decorated modern and up-to-date. You’ll find all the star amenities like a stunning outdoor pool to take a dip, a bistro for fine dining, and a fitness center.

The hotel is located downtown near Old Town Scottsdale within a few miles of everything. You’re just a 10-minute walk from the popular Scottsdale restaurants, shops, and galleries.

Scottsdale’s free trolley stops nearby the hotel and takes you through the Main Arts District and Scottsdale’s Civic Center. The Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and a number of golf courses are also nearby to keep you entertained during your trip.

8. Bespoke Inn Scottsdale

If you’re looking to stay at a super cute hotel with lots of character the Bespoke Inn is the right place for you. The Inn is decorated with cute rustic details—it’s so charming.

Enjoy fine dining at the restaurant on-site, Virtu Honest Craft—it’s an award-winning place to eat. After you’re done and ready to cool off, you can swim in the stainless steel infinity pool on the roof.

This little boutique style inn has amazing ratings and I can’t wait to stay here next time.

9. Winery Suites of Scottsdale

Stay at Winery Suites for a cozy and charming stay in the Arts District of Old Town Scottsdale. They have 2 beautifully decorated vintage homes with 4 vacation rental units.

This is definitely not your traditional stay since it’s not an ordinary hotel, but it has all the amenities you’ll need.

There’s an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant, bar, and fitness center that you’ll get access to the entire stay. Each suite has a private entrance with a patio and is decorated with a South West style.

There’s free private parking and you’re conveniently located close to the free trolley stop. You’re also a short walk away for the farmers market.

You’ll also be close to the Desert Botanical Gardens, OdySea Aquarium, Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, and Scottsdale Stadium.
