Hotel Les Mars is a gorgeous hotel in downtown Healdsburg right on the main square. The vibe is romantic, vintage, French, and luxurious, and it’s one of my favorite places to stay in Healdsburg.
Being a boutique hotel, the Parisian-inspired Hotel Les Mars has 16 rooms, with incredible attention to detail and service.
The rooms are gorgeous, with their canopy beds and a cozy fireplace turned on, welcoming you. And while I love lounging and reading by the fireplace, I think my favorite feature is their stunning marble bathrooms and jacuzzi.
The jacuzzi comes with an assortment of bath salts—such a treat.
We enjoyed a French-style continental breakfast each morning with chocolate croissants, yogurt and granola, orange juice and coffee.
And while we’re on the topic of food, their mini bar is fully stocked with complimentary snacks and there’s a Nespresso machine, which I love! Such a huge step up from the usual crappy hotel coffee maker.
There’s also a complimentary nightly wine and cheese happy hour, perfect for a little something to sip and nibble on before dinner.
Oh, and if you’re looking for an awesome dinner, Chalkboard is literally connected to Hotel Les Mars. One night when we were feeling particularly wiped after a very full day of wine tasting, I took a bath in the epic jacuzzi, we ordered Chalkboard’s incredible pastas up to our room, and we ate dinner in our robes.
Honestly, it’s hard to think of anything better!
If you’re booking here, try to get a room on the third floor—the 20-foot high vaulted ceilings make the rooms even more spacious and luxurious.
