Last week I had the amazingly fun and glamorous opportunity to host a blogger night at SHN Orpheum Theatre. A handful of bloggers and I got to go backstage to get a close-up look at all the amazing costumes for the Broadway show, Priscilla. With more than 500 costumes, 150 pairs of shoes and 200 hats and headdresses, it was a smorgasbord of campy color. Pink paint brushes, cupcakes, kangaroos and more were pulled off the racks for our viewing delight. And the show has won a Tony for its costumes, so you know they’re incredible. I mean how could Swarovski crystal encrusted costumes not be? After our backstage tour, we got to grab cocktails and enjoy the show. It was hilarious, sassy and had great, feel-good message. Priscilla is in town through August 31st, so if you’re going to be in SF be sure to get your tickets!
A huge thank you to SHN for being such amazing hosts!
