The weather in Napa has been absolutely perfect lately, and while getting out of the house with a baby in tow is challenging, I’m trying to take advantage! We went out on our first lunch date as a family of three this weekend, and I’m happy to say it was a success! Roman only fussed a little and mostly just chilled with us and napped.
Since I’m mostly in athleisure when I’m at home taking care of the baby, I like to get dressed up in a cute outfit when I go out, even if it’s just for a casual, quick lunch. I put together this look with pieces from Walmart, and it was the perfect lunch date outfit.
I wore this denim Free Assembly midi dress that buttons all the way up. It’s a fantastic wardrobe staple because you can easily transition it from summer to fall. Considering how versatile this dress is, the $34 price tag is a steal.
For our family outing, I paired the dress with these nude heeled sandals to dress things up a bit. The heel is tall enough to flatter and elongate your legs without being hard to walk in—key when I’m carrying a baby!
I’m all about accessories, so I finished my lunch date look with a Jessica Simpson charm bracelet and some earrings from this set by Scoop. The under $10 charm bracelet is feminine and dainty but feels expensive. I was also impressed by the quality of the earring set, which is $18 for three pairs and an ear cuff.
I love how this outfit came together and I’m thinking I’ll style this dress with boots when fall is in full swing. Regardless of the season, Walmart is my go-to for trendy fashion inspiration!
Huge thanks to Walmart for sponsoring this post.
