Usually around this time of year I’m drafting my letter to Santa, but when L’Oreal asked me to write a letter to my hair, I couldn’t resist putting it in poem form…
Dear Hair,
I haven’t necessarily always been kind—sad, but true.
Like that time in 2004 when crimping was in style
We grew healthy ends again, but it took a while.
Or when I went through that phase where I curled you every day
You never complained, but boy did I pay.
My ends were so dry
I wanted to cry.
But we got a trim and started anew
My ends felt so much better, too.
And of the blowdryer, I’ll always beware.
I know it sucks the moisture right out of you
And with that delicate balance, I’d rather not screw.
I’ve made some new friends that I think you’ll really love
You can check them out in the photo above.
L’Oreal’s Advanced Hair Care Collection
Will have us doing some inner reflection.
The Total Repair balm, conditioner and shampoo
Will get you feeling back to brand new;
Before all the chlorine, salt and bad weather
And you were soft and light as a feather.
So are you ready to go on this journey with me?
I promise we’ll head into the holidays with glee!
