While I do enjoy trying new products, I’m really not one to change up my skincare routine. Truth be told I’ve been using the same face wash since I was in high school. I have really sensitive skin and breakouts are no stranger to me, so when I have a routine that works I tend to not rock the boat.
Suddenly though, my usual routine just wasn’t working for me. This summer I’ve had crazy dry skin, especially underneath my eyes (a spot where your skin is very delicate and sensitive) and around my chin and laugh lines. If I had to guess, I’d say these two spots are probably the worst ones to have dry skin on your face, since it amplifies any fine lines.
My guess was that a combination of travel, lots of sun, dry weather, and some of the harsh anti-acne cream I’d been using had caused my skin to get a bit out of whack. So, I sought out help from one of my favorite natural beauty lines, Burt’s Bees. I loooove their lip balm and lotion, so I was excited to give a couple products from their skincare line a try.
Burt’s Bees Cleansing Oil is a new product, that’s not oily and won’t clog pores, but leaves your skin clean and soft. It’s meant to be used with other Burt’s Bees skincare products, and I picked up their spot treatment to pair with it.
Some natural products were just what the doctor ordered! After just a few days the dryness started to go away and my skin was feeling back to its normal self. I picked these up from Target and I noticed they had a pretty big selection of Burt’s Bees other skincare products, and now I can’t wait to try out some more!
