I shot this dressy workwear look in between bouts of pouring rain in the city. I’ve recently moved from Google’s South Bay campus to our San Francisco office, and the lack of a two hour morning commute has been life changing. After two years, I’d forgotten just how much I loved working in the city. And being able to actually do things in the city after work, rather than sitting in traffic on the 101 has been lovely. I also appreciate that people dress up a bit more in the city than in uber casual Silicon Valley. This dress is perfect for the office because it’s super comfortable and has a fun print for a pop of color. Which is key for me, because I like to keep my work outfits low maintenance but still put together.
