Omied and I spent an afternoon strolling around the botanical gardens in Rio and they were so beautiful! We had one goal when we went to Rio: to see monkeys. Ok, we had lots of goals including exploring all the amazing sights Rio has to offer and getting some R&R in, but monkeys were very, very high on our list. When we finally saw monkeys in the garden I totally played it cool, a.k.a. I freaked out and started jumping around and talking to them like they were little babies. Omied got a shot of this cutie pie monkey that I shared in this post but there were at least 20 hopping, swinging, running, and you know…generally monkeying around. After that we were pretty much like ok, our trip is complete! We can go home now. 😉
The botanical gardens basically looked like FernGully (anyone else remember that movie??) and I kinda felt like a fairy in this pretty Nha Khanh romper (a new-to-me designer whose lacy and feminine pieces I’m loving right now). And can we talk for a minute about this cinemagraph at the end? It’s one of my favorites that Omied and I have shot. 🙂
