Happy, happy Friday! A short work week makes for a fast-approaching weekend, which I can totally get behind. Even though Labor Day has come and gone, I’m still wearing whites and squeezing in every summer silhouette I can while I have the chance. In my opinion, the trick to wearing white after Labor Day is to not wear all white. For today’s look, I added in some stripes and broke things up with a thick, lavender belt. The white skirt is actually a dress, and I tucked the top into the belt—one of my favorite tricks to getting lots of wears out of a dress!
Today’s look was actually inspired by Clorox® Smart SeekTM Bleach. Smart SeekTM allows for whites with some color to be thrown in with your regular whites load and come out looking just as sparkling. So, I wanted to put together an outfit that would take advantage of this unique technology that delivers just enough power to remove stains and whiten the white parts of the garment (while still being color safe on patterns).
Under the nom de plume, Cloey De La Rox, Clorox® will feature the new product at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week with a line of “Smart-Seekable” patterned undies! If you’re in NY on Saturday, September 6th, you can be part of the collection behind this bleach innovation by stopping by Clorox® Bleach’s activation outside of Lincoln Center where you can check out the patterns and take your picture with the models at a special photo booth. Want to win tickets to Fashion week? Tweet, Facebook or Instagram a picture with your favorite pattern (or model) using #SmartSeekNYFW and #Sweeps! You probably won’t want to miss the chance to take a pic and talk patterns with these guys…did you see the Smart SeekTM models??
