Wedding planning has been moving along smoothly! In just two days it’ll be one year away, which means we’ve got plenty of time and I’ve been able to have fun planning one chunk of wedding necessities at a time. We just booked our photographer last week and I’m absolutely thrilled with our choice. More on that later!
As I’ve been starting to try on dresses, I’ve also been starting to to think about accessories. You know…something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. Here’s what I’m thinking…
Something old: A vintage clutch from my (almost) 99 year-old grandmother.
Something new: Manolo Blahniks! The classic d’Orsay style is so pretty for bridal shoes.
Something borrowed: Diamond studs from my mom. The ones pictured above are from Shane Co.
Something blue: A sapphire pendant from Shane Co.
Of course, I’ll wait until I lock down the dress before I start actually picking up accessories. Although I may or may not have already scored some Manolos and Louboutins with the idea of having them as my wedding shoes. Patience is a virtue, but it’s not my strong suit when it comes to shoes. 😉
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Shane Co. The opinions and text are all mine.
