I’m so excited to finally share the first portion of our wedding photos!! When I look at these pictures, all the excitement and emotions from our special day come rushing back to me. It’s hard to believe that almost two months have already gone by since we got married. Omied and I were laughing the other day, because when we were still on our honeymoon we thought that when we got back to the States we were going to have so much free time, since we wouldn’t be spending every waking minute wedding planning. But of course, life finds away to fill itself up (case in point, our photographer sent us our beautiful photos while we were still in France on our honeymoon, and I’m just now finding time to sort through them and share them a month later). Even though our schedules have been extremely hectic after the wedding, we’re still finding time every day to enjoy being newlyweds, and smile at getting to use “husband” and “wife” in every day conversation.
We feel so lucky to have had Lyndsay Undseth shooting our special day. She was absolutely amazing…I mean just look at these photos! She is so talented. Since Lyndsay sent us around 1,200 photos from our wedding day, I’ll be splitting them up into four different posts to share on WTFab (and if you’re looking for inspiration for your own wedding, I’m including captions with helpful links). This first post includes getting ready, and Omied and I doing our first look. <3
I was so happy when I found this bridal sash on etsy for $55! I had tried on one almost exactly the same at the bridal boutique where I found my dress, but that one was over $300!
I joked a lot about fearing that I might ugly cry on my wedding day. These hankies were a funny reminder to keep it together! (My bridesmaids and my mom got use out of theirs too)
We stayed at The Citizen Hotel, an adorable and photogenic boutique hotel in Downton Sacramento with plenty of charm. It was the perfect setting for us and our bridal party to get ready. And our suite had a gorgeous balcony that served as a beautiful spot for our first look. I love this photo of my bridesmaids peeking out the window at Omied waiting for me. 🙂
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has sent well wishes before, during and after our wedding day. It’s been an absolute dream. Stay tuned for more wedding photos coming over the next few weeks!

I think that this place is really suitable for any size of gathering. By the way, they offer a day care room with lots of toys for children. The food at wedding venues was delicious and the service is always great. Also the view is absolutely amazing.

OMG! I know it sounds cheesy but I teared up towards the end. Omied's expressions are priceless.
