A couple weekends ago we went to a Roaring 20’s themed birthday party (complete with a vague corner location instead of an address, where we had to find a man with a yellow hat and ask him if he was superstitious in order for him to lead us to a hidden speakeasy). As any San Franciscan does, I love a good theme, and I started thinking of outfit options weeks in advance. I felt like wearing feathers for the occasion, and threw in some lace and fishnet tights for good measure. To complete the look I just needed a headpiece. After rummaging through my closet, I found the perfect one—the flower decoration that wraps around a brand new box of Tieks shoes.
